Kelly Morgan (2025-08-12, 12:17 p.m.):
I do frequent shopping at this establishment, the staff is rather amiable, there is a wide array of products available for purchase. I have been a loyal customer for several years now. One thing that has caught my attention is the absence of Canadian Tire money. I wonder, do people still utilize it? It seems to have disappeared as of late.
Kenneth Smith (2025-08-11, 8:16 p.m.):
I typically can locate what I need in this establishment, the sales items are usually well-stocked. My main gripe is the lack of multiple cashiers, leading to extended waits at the checkout.
Linda Ortiz (2025-08-11, 2:16 a.m.):
A jolly good experience and quite decent accessibility, I must say!
Riley Lewis (2025-08-10, 3:14 p.m.):
I requested for help thrice but no one came to assist me.
Robert Baker (2025-08-09, 11:59 p.m.):
Lovely tidy shop with friendly staff.
Doris Reyes (2025-08-09, 8:25 a.m.):
Jeremy, the parts manager, was incredibly helpful in fixing my key fob. Thank you very much!
Teresa Perez (2025-08-06, 12:06 a.m.):
What a brilliant store! They have a wide range of diverse items. When they have sales, you can really save a load of money!
Emily Allen (2025-08-04, 8:04 p.m.):
This be the most dreadful department store I've set foot in. The folks who knew their trade have up and left for reasons unknown. It's a challenge to navigate through aisles cluttered with carts brimming with products that ought to be on the shelves. There's only one cashier, and at times, none at all! Their system indicates they carry a product, yet no soul can lay hands on it. This establishment used to be me top choice, now it's me final resort.
Stephanie Lee (2025-08-03, 5:47 p.m.):
I 'ad a jolly good experience today with Casey and Hritik, them Mastercard reps. I'm absolutely chuffed!
Diane Walker (2025-08-02, 12:29 p.m.):
Rune, the MasterCard representative, was absolutely brilliant in assisting me to find exactly what I was after. Amazing job! 🤙
Sarah Fisher (2025-07-31, 10:11 p.m.):
Not the best spot, but can come to your rescue in a pinch. The staff is friendly and accommodating. One major downside is that a lot of items for Automotive and Seasonal/Camping (like Patio Furniture, Tents, etc.) need to be ordered online or prepaid in-store with fingers crossed for the desired product.
Ralph Patterson (2025-07-30, 10:01 p.m.):
If you're going to have Black Friday sales, they should have all cashiers open, not just 2.
Dylan Morgan (2025-07-30, 2:01 p.m.):
Oh blimey, what a wretched experience I had at the bloomin' automotive parts counter. I was cruising through Amherst when I heard my front brake caliper rattling, so I popped into Canadian Tire. Turns out I was missing a caliper pin bolt, so I headed to the parts counter. The parts manager, Mike, told me he didn't have the bolt in the system and couldn't take the bolt off a remanufactured caliper in stock so I could match it with their selection of bolts in the hardware aisle. He claimed they couldn't sell the unit without the bolt removed, which is a load of codswallop. The bolt needs to be removed for installation and it comes loose in the pin from the factory. I slapped $100 on the counter and said if he could load brake pads in that caliper without removing the 2 pin bolts, the money was his. It's impossible with that unit; I've tried. For some reason, Mike decided to be a right pain in the neck that day. I asked to speak with the store manager or owner twice, but was told they were out and only given their first names and the branch phone number. After Mike walked away, another person at the counter who saw the whole thing asked if they could help. I explained the situation to her but said I wouldn't ask her to go against what her boss had said, even though it was a ridiculously bad level of service. Mike could definitely use some basic customer service skills from this lady.

Thankfully, Napa was just down the street and they were more than willing to help with the bolt I needed; they even loaned me a wrench to install it in their yard. I had a complete set of sockets I was planning to buy at CT to install until I ran into Mike.
Arthur Scott (2025-07-29, 7:27 a.m.):
Short-staffed, innit, but if you use the app to locate what you need, you'll be sorted. The pickup boxes are a lovely touch.
Bruce Ross (2025-07-27, 11:55 p.m.):
This place 's getting better, the diversity and Customer Service has improved. Keep up the good work, love.
Evelyn Gutierrez (2025-07-27, 10:56 a.m.):
I was searching for an item in the department store when an employee (Salem) approached me and kindly inquired about what I was looking for. He then proceeded to provide me with precise directions to the aisle, side, and shelf where the item was located. Thanks to his proactive assistance, I was able to quickly find the item I needed. Salem's excellent customer service was greatly appreciated, and I would like to thank him and the team at Amherst Canadian Tire.
Paul Cooper (2025-07-22, 5:44 p.m.):
Not the best Canadian tire store around. Limited selection and flyer items frequently out of stock. However, the staff is friendly and attentive.
Larry Ortiz (2025-07-20, 9:07 a.m.):
One sales bloke told us they didn't 'ave any stik bot toys, so we asked another sales bloke who quickly went to the shelf and fetched one for us. Just like in life, you may come across some good ones and some who ain't keen on assistin' anyone. Merry Christmas, mate! Cheers!
Virginia Watson (2025-07-17, 3:02 a.m.):
The worst store in Nova Scotia, I suggest heading to either Truro or Moncton as they never seem to have the item you're looking for, and the manager is far from helpful to the customer.
John Edwards (2025-07-15, 2:31 p.m.):
The staff seem clueless when it comes to the stock. I've tried several times to purchase auto parts by providing the make and model, only to discover at home that the parts are incorrect. This has happened too many times to keep track of.
Today, I went in to inquire about "pansies" (flowers) that were priced at $.99. It took multiple attempts to make the cashier understand what a pansy was. I even had to spell out the word for them.
In the end, the warehouse, garage where the pansies were kept, and the cashier couldn't seem to coordinate properly. I left without any plants.
This situation is becoming absurd!
