If you speak French, you get great service. If you speak English, you get terrible service. Customer service keeps hanging up on me when I call at the store because I asked the lady if she understands English. I spoke to her in French, I'm not fluent in French but I try, she didn't even give me a chance. Called 5 times after, they kept hanging up on me. June 11, 2020 at 11:30 am is when I called. I am trying again. I called again and finally spoke with someone at 11:45 am, a manager I was told. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE COMING FROM THIS STORE. NEVER IN MY LIFETIME HAVE I BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS. UNBELIEVABLE.

I popped by on Friday night to get some balloons blown up. A staff member paged the person in charge of inflating them, but they had already clocked out. I inquired about returning the next morning since I needed them for Saturday afternoon. The response I received was rather vague... There was no way to confirm whether they'd be ready. In the end, I decided to swing by the Economy Market instead. I get that the employee had finished their shift, but I would have been willing to return on Saturday if another staff member had bothered to check if the balloon person would be in the next day...

It would have been an overnight trip and turned into the 4th night, I suppose. Canadian Tire wouldn't take my truck in as the electric power steering wasn't working. The person at the counter didn't even want to know or listen; she just kept saying they were full. Bad service, that's all I can say.

My hubby got a box on his noggin whilst tryna browse 'is interests, and the staff do their best but don't always find what we're after, so it's best to shop in other towns where we're sure to find what he's after. Here, it's rare to find the specific items he's lookin' for, like Amos in Abitibi.

Amos' Canadian Tire is one of the rare establishments of this brand that remains on a human scale. The others have all closed in favor of very large stores. The service there is top-notch. It provides a respite from the "Monster Stores" where we have to trek almost a kilometer to locate a sale item. The aisles may be a bit crowded, but the end-of-season deals are genuine, and the ambiance is quite pleasant.

Oops! I'm not from Amos, and I wasn't aware that a very large branch is under construction...

I had waited for an hour for someone to find my order from the warehouse. When they called to say it had arrived, my order was incomplete. Despite having a basket full of items, I ended up abandoning my purchases at the store!! Definitely my worst shopping experience ever!!
