The pharmacy is top-notch, with exceptional customer service that truly goes above and beyond to address all your inquiries. I was thoroughly impressed. Overall, Shoppers locations are reliable, and Bancroft is particularly excellent.

I brought in a one-month prescription for my son. They insisted on splitting it into FOUR 'weeks worth' prescriptions so that I would have to pay the $12 dispensing fee four times for one prescription. To make matters worse, when it was time to get his second refill, they didn't even have it in stock!! This unnecessary hiccup caused a detrimental interruption in his dosing. Absolutely awful experience.

I encountered an issue when attempting to purchase scratch tickets as the cashier initially claimed that my temporary permit was not a valid form of ID. Despite my attempts to explain that it was indeed acceptable, she continued to insist otherwise.

The situation escalated as the cashier became increasingly rude and even refused to sell me a second scratch ticket because it was not readily available in her tray. I suggested that she call another cashier to assist me, as I could see that one had the desired ticket on hand. Eventually, she conceded that she would have accepted my permit had I listened to her initially. My frustration did not stem from the validity of my ID, as I was aware of its legitimacy, but rather from the lack of respect shown to me and the denial of a product I wished to purchase simply out of her own reluctance.

I firmly believe that customer service representatives should prioritize assisting customers to the best of their ability, a principle which, in this instance, appeared to have been overlooked. It is my hope that this feedback will prompt a reconsideration of the training provided to your staff, emphasizing the importance of managing their emotions and delivering top-notch customer service.

While an apology would be appreciated, I understand that it may not be forthcoming. However, I urge you to address these concerns to ensure that all customers receive the level of service they deserve.

It's quite odd that the store seemed to have plenty of staff available to pester me throughout my entire visit on Saturday, yet there was a noticeable shortage of personnel in both the post office and the pharmacy. The cashiers appeared to be in a perpetual state of misery and were rather impolite. It seems that a complete overhaul of staffing and customer service is desperately needed in this establishment. I highly doubt that I will make any future purchases here unless convenience dictates otherwise. Such subpar service certainly does not warrant even a single penny from my pocket.

As I made my way to the cashier to settle my purchases, a rather brash chap in his thirties or so, who seemed to work at the store, confronted me quite aggressively. In a rather belligerent manner, he bluntly asked, "Are you planning to pay for that hat?" His approach left me feeling flustered; I'm quite certain had my husband been present, he would not have dared to address me in such a manner. It seems that's how things are done at Shoppers, but a gentler approach would have been more appreciated.

I must say, I've been feeling quite upset with the Pharmacy staff recently. My orders have been consistently arriving later than promised, despite being assured that they would be delivered by the 7th of each month. On one occasion, my order didn't arrive until the 18th! I expressed my frustration politely - no swearing, no threats, and certainly no stealing - and yet I was met with rudeness from one of the staff members. When I mentioned taking my business elsewhere, I was unexpectedly banned from the pharmacy.

It's worth noting that I often drive seniors to and from Bancroft for their shopping needs, including stops at this pharmacy to collect their prescriptions. Losing access to this pharmacy not only impacted my job but also led to temporary housing instability as I was between jobs at the time. I genuinely believe that this treatment was unfair towards a dissatisfied customer and should never have occurred.

I've been frequenting Shoppers in Bancroft since it opened, and never had any issues before this morning. The pharmacists have always been kind, efficient, and sympathetic. However, today was a different story.

I walked in at 8:02 and explained to the pharmacist, who I hadn't met before, that I was suffering from a UTI and in a lot of pain. Without getting up from his seat behind the computer, he casually mentioned that he could provide me with medication, but it would take about 3 hours. I was taken aback and asked, "3 hours?" to which he responded, "It's first thing in the morning, I just started my computer and have a lot of work to catch up on." He asked me a few questions from his seat and reiterated the wait time. Feeling the pain, I decided to wait despite being upset.

As I sat there with tears in my eyes, he swiftly filled the prescription. However, when handing it over, he remarked, "If you went to the hospital, you'd wait 10 hours, so why be surprised if you have to wait 3 hours here? I have a lot of work to do in the morning, including filling overnight orders." I was too upset to respond.

I'm giving this experience a 1-star rating solely based on today's encounter. Someone should have a conversation with this pharmacist about the way he talks to sick customers.

I kindly urge you to consider extending the operating hours of the post office to include weekends. It seems rather unreasonable that our community, which is well equipped with almost every other essential service, lacks a post office that operates on Saturdays and Sundays. For instance, if I happen to receive a package on a Friday and it requires pickup at the post office, I am left without access to it until Monday. This delay hinders my ability to complete any weekend projects that may depend on the contents of the package I ordered. Moreover, weekend visitors, such as cottagers, are unable to retrieve their packages, causing unnecessary accumulation in the back room. It is worth noting that most neighboring communities have post offices with weekend hours. As the discretion to staff the post office lies with the store manager, I believe that by providing weekend service, you could better serve our community.

After frequenting this Pharmacy for many moons, I recently encountered a less than pleasant situation involving a rather uncivil and unhelpful member of the non-pharmacy staff. This unfortunate incident has led me to seek out another pharmacy for my medicinal needs. It appears that while the pharmacy section itself is adequately staffed, the front-end of the establishment lacks sufficient personnel, and those present seem to lack proper training. For example, some staff members are unaware of the store's policy regarding rain-checks for sale items that are out of stock, how to issue them, and how to honor them. The staff also struggle during peak times, such as Thursdays designated for Seniors, when many patrons are unable or unwilling to use self-checkout machines - especially given the recent surge in prices.
