The experience at the Pharmacy was rather lackluster, to say the least.
Amber Campbell (2025-08-12, 4:54 p.m.):
This joint is absolutely rubbish at honoring corporate discounts. They seem to be making up their own rules on the fly. When challenged, they come up with pathetic excuses to explain their pricing.
Richard Morris (2025-08-11, 11:47 p.m.):
Great deals on office supplies, gadgets, games, and other items are available.

Popped into Shoppers around half past nine in the morning to get a last-minute prescription sorted. Cut to three in the afternoon and still no sign of the meds being filled. The person on the phone clearly didn't do their due diligence...had to push for the staff to actually get it done. Hard to fathom how disorganized and shambolic a pharmacy can be, taking a whole 5 hours just to fill a prescription. April said to wait...and wait I did until 3:17 with no service in sight once more!!! Was told to return by 4 o'clock, but come 4:20 we were still twiddling our thumbs!

This joint might have just clinched the world title for the longest prescription wait time... 7 long hours... whoop-de-doo... that's your idea of top-notch Shoppers service!!!

My advice to anyone needing their scripts filled: bolt...get out of there fast. Head over to I.D.A instead.

Absolutely dreadful experience. I had a prescription sent in the afternoon from another pharmacy and called ahead to see if it could be ready in about 2 hours as I was passing through. They confirmed the details but upon arrival, I was told to come back in 10 minutes, then 15, then again in another 15. After waiting for an hour, I had to leave without my medication due to other commitments. Now I'm left deciding whether to go without or make the long drive to this or another pharmacy tomorrow. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

Oh dear, it appears that three of the employees here who also happen to play Pokemon Go are quite dedicated to defending their gym. They seem to spend their entire shifts and even beyond, ensuring that no one else can take it over.

It does seem rather unprofessional to prioritize a game over work for such extended periods of time. It must be frustrating for customers who are trying to interact with them while they are engrossed in their gameplay.

I heard from a friend that they spent over an hour battling against her and her family's Pokemon in the gym. This behavior is definitely not ideal when they should be focusing on their responsibilities at work.

It's understandable that this kind of behavior could lead to mistakes like incorrect prescriptions or forgetting to remove expired items from the shelves. Hopefully, the management will address this issue and ensure that employees are focused on their work duties rather than gaming.

My absolute favorite pharmacy in town! Quick and efficient service every time, love it!
Brittany Martin (2025-07-29, 5:36 p.m.):
Fantastic team. Impeccably clean and well-lit store. The pharmacy staff is a delight to interact with.
Brian Allen (2025-07-28, 6:55 p.m.):
As a resident who recently relocated to the Bancroft area during the festive season of 2020, my family and I found ourselves in need of a new neighborhood pharmacy to manage our prescription needs. Both my wife and I rely on a significant number of medications, which made this search crucial. After carefully perusing the reviews of the three drugstores in Bancroft, it's evident that we will not be patronizing Shopper's Drug Mart. Heartfelt appreciation to all those individuals who dedicate their time to evaluating businesses and their customer service practices!
Sophia Thompson (2025-07-26, 4:16 p.m.):
I was looking to buy some cough syrup at the pharmacy today. I found a 125 ml bottle that had a regular price of $12.99, but there was a tag on the edge indicating a sale price of $9.99. When I got to the register, the price came up as $12.99. I asked the cashier about the difference, and they said it was a mistake and the tag was left there accidentally. However, the tag clearly stated that the sale price was effective until September 29th. I called the manager, Vicky, who came over and ripped the tag off the shelf. She then told me that they would not honor the sale price and just walked away, showing no regard for my concern. Her attitude was extremely rude and indifferent. There are two other pharmacies in Bancroft, and you can bet that I will not be returning to that store again.
Andrew Roberts (2025-07-24, 10:19 p.m.):
The staff at this pharmacy is always so helpful, I highly recommend them for all your medication needs.
Daisy Walker (2025-07-23, 2:05 a.m.):
Dreadful, I must say. I made the switch to this pharmacy recently and it's been quite the chaotic experience. The staff seem to be disorganized, impolite, and there never seems to be enough of them around. I find myself waiting for unreasonable lengths of time on each visit. In fact, during my last visit, I had to navigate their computer systems myself so I could instruct the next employee on how to perform their duties if I were to encounter issues again in the future. If I could, I'd give this pharmacy -1 star. My advice: steer clear!
Kimberly Nguyen (2025-07-20, 10:15 p.m.):
Outstanding assistance from Shelley, such a friendly and helpful demeanor. Top-notch service at the Bancroft store!
Lisa Bailey (2025-07-19, 10:13 p.m.):
I recently visited a Shoppers Drug Mart where I noticed that three employees seem to spend a lot of time playing Pokemon Go during work hours. It's quite frustrating as they are constantly kicking people out of the gym right after they place their Pokemon in it. I even heard a friend mention that they were targeted by these employees for over an hour! It's really disappointing to see this kind of behavior from staff members.

Many of my friends and family have also experienced similar incidents at this store, always encountering the same three players. It's disheartening to think that employees who should be focused on their job are instead spending their time on a game and impacting the customer experience.

On top of that, I've had issues with my prescriptions being incorrect at this location. Thankfully, I've switched to a different pharmacy that is more reliable with refills.

Overall, the lack of professionalism and focus on the job at this Shoppers location is concerning. It's a shame that employees are prioritizing a game over their responsibilities.
Kelly Kim (2025-07-18, 5:51 a.m.):
This pharmacy ought to be ashamed of their lackadaisical work ethic, poor customer service, and neglect of their customers' well-being. On multiple occasions, I have been informed that my prescription is unavailable or hasn't arrived simply due to their unwillingness to make the effort to check. Every time I've received such news, my prescription has actually been in stock, but the employees can't be bothered to fulfill their job responsibilities.
They even claimed that my antibiotics were unavailable for two consecutive days, leading to a severe infection that could have been prevented if the staff had done their job properly. Additionally, they had the audacity to question the necessity of my vital medication.
It's truly disappointing to witness such negligence from this pharmacy. I highly recommend seeking services elsewhere.
Timothy Hill (2025-07-18, 4:56 a.m.):
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this pharmacy. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I will not be returning to this establishment and will be taking my business elsewhere.
Beverly Reynolds (2025-07-14, 12:40 a.m.):
I must say, I am absolutely thrilled with the assistance I received from the pharmacy recently! In the past, there were some significant issues with speed and errors, but as of late, I have not encountered any problems and am truly impressed. The staff, especially the pharmacist Nilay Patel, has gone above and beyond to address any issues that arose from errors made by my doctors in my prescriptions. A heartfelt thank you to Patel's pharmacy team for their dedication and hard work!
Gerald Carter (2025-07-13, 1:41 a.m.):
I recently scheduled a flu shot online, showed up for my appointment, but the pharmacist informed me that he couldn't administer the shot until he finished filling all the prescriptions. He mentioned that he would be leaving before that happened, so I'd have to wait for the night shift pharmacist. However, even then, they might be too busy to assist me, so I ended up having to leave without getting my shot. It would be more helpful if pharmacies had nursing staff available for flu season, especially when promoting flu shots online.
Jose Reyes (2025-07-12, 10:47 a.m.):
I pop into Pharmacy every now and then, especially when they have some good deals going on. It's always fun to snag a bargain!
Vincent Gonzales (2025-07-11, 4:09 p.m.):
One time, I must say I had a rather frustrating experience with the shoppers in Bancroft. I attempted to reach out with a question by phone, however, the line seemed to ring endlessly for nearly 20 minutes without anyone answering. I am now contemplating visiting a different pharmacy. What’s the point of calling if you can't get through?
