I recently visited Bancroft Shoppers and I must say, it was quite disappointing. Firstly, there were no clean carts available, and it seemed like no one was making an effort to sanitize them. Despite there being at least 5 employees in the store, when I mentioned the issue of unclean carts, they didn't seem to care much. I asked to speak to a manager, but apparently, there was no manager on duty at that time.
The young man at the cash register was trying his best, but there was only one cash register open, which led to a bit of a bottleneck. Additionally, the customer in front of me took a significant amount of time buying lottery tickets, which further delayed the checkout process. I had intended to purchase a fair amount of items but ended up leaving with only 2 cases of pop due to the inconvenience.

Despite making a purchase at this establishment, they did not permit the use of their restroom. I would advise staying away. No compassion shown whatsoever.

I recently had a rather frustrating experience at a pharmacy. There was a sale sticker displayed for a shaver, but when it was scanned at the checkout, the price was $20 higher than advertised. I requested to take a picture of the sale sticker for evidence, but they refused, which only heightened my suspicions. In the end, I decided to leave as I didn't want to become confrontational with the staff. However, it's clear to me that this store has a significant issue when it comes to ethical practices. If you promote a price, you should stand by it. It's a simple principle. Needless to say, I won't be returning to that pharmacy.
