I underwent a significant surgery at this hospital two weeks back under the care of Dr. Laliberte. The protocols in place for COVID-19 are top-notch. The nurses possess impeccable bedside manner. They thoroughly explain each step, ensuring you are well-informed about what to anticipate both pre and post-surgery. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive. The majority of rooms are private and boast splendid views. A special thanks to nurses Kat, Kenth, and Brooklyne for their exceptional care during my brief time here.

We found ourselves at this hospital while visiting from out of town with our 5-year-old daughter who was suffering from a viral infection. Renee was absolutely INCREDIBLE from the moment we stepped through the doors until the time we left. She exuded friendliness and professionalism, going above and beyond to ensure our daughter was comfortable and reassuring us that we were in capable hands. Not only did she take great care of our daughter, but she also thought about my other two children who were with us in the emergency room, providing them with a cozy spot to color. After our emergency visit, she even arranged for a cab to take my daughter and me back to our hotel. I have never encountered such exceptional service in a hospital before.
The nurses and doctor who attended to us were all equally pleasant during our visit.
A massive thank you to all the staff who played a part in helping our daughter feel better. We are truly grateful for all of you.

My daughter arrived at the hospital after fracturing her leg from slipping on ice. I must say that every staff member went out of their way to assist us, and she underwent surgery the following day. The financial team cooperated with us and her to arrange payment (as she is on a working visa) and coordinated with her insurance. The doctors were upbeat and kept us updated, the nursing staff were kind and understanding. The hospital was impeccably clean, and the meals, when she could eat, were quite satisfactory and accommodated her dietary requirements.
Everyone involved made a difficult experience just a bit more bearable, and I am truly grateful for that.

While skiing at Sunshine, my daughter experienced a fracture. A huge shoutout to the fantastic team and Dr. Boone at Banff Hospital who assisted us! Their care was exceptional, and we are truly grateful for their help. Dr. Boone is absolutely amazing!
Arthur Reynolds (2025-08-05, 6:30 p.m.):
I was admitted to this hospital for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair day surgery. The staff in acute care, from the nurses to the entire surgery team (special shoutout to Dr. Buchko), was absolutely fantastic! They were always ready to answer any questions I had and provided me with plenty of care both before and after the surgery. The surgery itself was quite intense, considering my ACL was fully torn and there was significant damage to the meniscus. However, I am now eager to begin my rehabilitation and focus on emerging even stronger and better than before!

These wonderful folks at the hospital are a delight to work with. It's always bustling with activity, so keep calm and they'll get to you as soon as they can.

The experience I had at Banff Mineral Springs Hospital was simply marvelous! The staff at reception were so kind, friendly, and quick, and the nursing care I received was truly exceptional. Dr. Laliberte, a renowned surgeon, showcased his expertise, and the whole team's efficiency and professionalism made the experience absolutely flawless!
Michelle Coleman (2025-07-26, 8:50 a.m.):
The medical treatment itself was decent, and the meals and nurses were quite friendly. Nevertheless, the administrative process was rather lacking. I had to provide extensive medical records and fee documents to the insurance company, only for them to claim they lacked certain details and that the documents they possessed were sufficient. When I initiated a claim, I was notified of insufficient documentation. They mentioned that, due to concerns about insurance fraud, they could only proceed with payment if the fee particulars were expressly listed. After numerous complexities, I eventually made the request, but they indicated it would take a month to process. A perplexing administrative system indeed. While it may be cost-free for their citizens, one shouldn't anticipate a system akin to that of Korea's. A completely different ball game.
Virginia Taylor (2025-07-24, 7:30 a.m.):
The folks here are just lovely, and the care is top-notch. If you find yourself unwell while visiting Banff, this is the place to go!
Sophia Phillips (2025-07-24, 6:43 a.m.):
Absolutely thrilled with the care I received today at Banff Mineral Spring Hospital - huge shoutout to everyone on the team, from the moment I checked in until I departed, I felt incredibly well taken care of. A massive thank you to Dr. Greg Buchko and his amazing team for their exceptional treatment - astonishingly, I was up and about with crutches just 5 hours post my ACL knee surgery! Now, a mere 12 hours later, my knee feels fantastic with minimal discomfort, rating less than one on a scale of 1 to 10. 😄
Michelle Kim (2025-07-22, 4:18 p.m.):
Somehow, they do a remarkable job at being the most dreadful emergency department I have ever visited, and mind you, I come from a developing country. Surprisingly quiet, yet they insist on making you wait for what feels like an eternity – last visit entailed a 6-hour wait only to be advised to simply take a pain reliever. Today, my girlfriend experienced food poisoning, and despite our hours-long wait, we were promptly sent back home with reassurance from the doctor that everything will be fine as there are a couple of viruses making the rounds.
Alice Scott (2025-07-20, 5:08 p.m.):
Absolutely fantastic establishment with an exceptional team. I underwent day surgery and was well taken care of from registration to release. I wholeheartedly recommend this Hospital.
Donald Reed (2025-07-20, 6:52 a.m.):
I do apologize for the incredibly lengthy wait for blood tests and the whole shebang just to be informed that it’s muscle pain which should resolve itself in 5 days. We’re currently still here, 20 minutes past requesting crutches, observing as the nurses are all chatting and giggling amongst themselves. They're quite friendly, I must say, but the wait to receive no substantial information has been rather challenging.
Cheryl Powell (2025-07-18, 11:52 a.m.):
During a sudden emergency, we found ourselves at this hospital on the 17th of September, 2022. This has been one of the finest hospitals I have visited thus far in Canada. The entire staff, from the screening personnel, front desk attendants, nurses, and doctors, were exceptional. They were incredibly welcoming and supportive. The staff demonstrated great understanding and empathy towards our situation, going above and beyond to assist us during a challenging time.
While long wait times are a common issue in many hospitals, there was a short wait here as well. However, the staff provided us with reassurance that the wait wouldn't be too lengthy and gave us estimated timeframes for when we could expect to see the doctor. This was greatly appreciated, as they acknowledged our challenging circumstances and exhibited a willingness to help us in the best way possible.
In addition to the doctors and nurses, I must extend special thanks to the screening personnel and front desk registration staff for their invaluable assistance to my family. The entire team is friendly, caring, polite, and genuinely helpful.
I would like to express my gratitude once again to all the staff at this hospital.
Mark Reyes (2025-07-16, 9:21 p.m.):
Big shoutout to Lindsay at Mineral Springs Hospital. I arrived in an emergency situation and both times I had visited before the doctor saw me, she showed me so much kindness and warmth, making me feel safe and comfortable. She is truly outstanding at her job, and I want her to know how grateful I was for her.
Roy Reyes (2025-07-12, 11:13 p.m.):
My time in the hospital was absolutely brilliant. Big thanks to all the wonderful staff members.
Paul Kim (2025-07-08, 10:13 p.m.):
The folks were pleasant, but when me old man dislocated 'is shoulder, the ski patrol popped it back in. We popped into the hospital to check if it was broken. Blimey, they charged us $1200 USD for a sling and an X-ray. Utter highway robbery! Avoid this place if you're not a local. Best to get non-urgent treatment in yer own country. I was certain the USA had the crown for pricey healthcare, but I've been proven very, very wrong.
