This was our second go at the Lake Louise/Moraine Lake tour (the weather wasn't too kind the first time around). Our guide, Kyla, was absolutely splendid! We had ample time at both lakes, and she truly elevated each excursion! The snapshots are from both visits to Lake Louise (roughly 4 days in between).

We 'ad a bloody brilliant time on the mornin' tour to Lake Louise and Morane Lake. Our driver and guide Laurent was an absolute gem, makin' us feel right at 'ome. Recently embarked on the evening wildlife tour with this sightseeing tour agency. They provide convenient pick-up services from various hotels and even the Banff train station. During our excursion, we were fortunate to observe deer, sheep, and elk, although we missed encountering any bears. Overall, it was an enjoyable and educational experience. The pick up and drop off were a breeze, the bus was all posh-like and spick and span, and the cherry on top was our driver and tour guide Andy. Every soul aboard was raving about him being the best tour guide they've ever had. We was gobsmacked by 'ow many facts 'e 'ad stored in 'is noggin. So yesterday, we went on the Signature Hike to Lake Minnewanka with this fella named Taylor, or was it Tyler? I always mix up names, you know what I mean. He's the bloke with the glasses and the beard. Let me tell ya, he was proper attentive and knowledgeable. Ask him anything, be it about bison, flowers, or the history of Lake Minnewanka, and he's got ya covered. The passion he has for Banff really shines through when he talks about its natural history. A true professional guide, he even carried some extra water for us just in case we got a bit parched as we walked through an area with fewer trees due to past forest fires. The group size was just right, not too big, and the small bus we rode in was tidy and comfy. Would absolutely give it a solid 10/10 and definitely consider coming back for another hike next time! Couldn't be happier with the tour experience!

Not only did we get to hang out at the Kicking Horse Grizzly Bear Refuge for an hour, but we also made pit stops at Takkakaw Falls, enjoyed a lovely lunch at Eagle’s Eye Restaurant, and even swung by Emerald Lake on the journey back. The whole adventure was expertly arranged and truly stood out as a top moment during our time in Lake Louise.

We embarked on the morning ice tour of Johnston Canyon with Eli and it was an absolute blast! The shuttle bus arrived promptly to whisk us away, and in just around 20 minutes we reached the starting point of the trail. Eli equipped us with ice cleats (a real game-changer!) and after a quick restroom break, we set off. Eli's expertise on the area's wildlife, terrain, and canyon history was truly impressive, making him the perfect guide. Taking this tour was definitely the highlight of our trip!
