Kathleen Harris (2025-07-21, 8:53 p.m.):
What a marvelous voyage! The folks leading the tour were ever so amiable, and they put their all into spotting those majestic whales. I wholeheartedly suggest it, whether the whales make an appearance or not. Luckily, we were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of some :)
Hannah Simmons (2025-07-21, 7:28 p.m.):
Top notch tour guide in Bonavista!
Victoria Adams (2025-07-19, 3:10 p.m.):
The sights on this tour are simply unbeatable, mate. Bonavista is a charming spot, no doubt about it. But, I must say, the blokes in charge of the tour didn't quite hit the mark. The tour guide seemed to be more interested in the corner of the boat than interacting with us travelers. We sat there in silence for what felt like ages until he decided to start chatting. And what a disappointment that was! Instead of sharing interesting facts or tales about the bay, he went on a tangent about his, erm, rather strong political views. Not exactly the kind of conversation you'd expect on a leisurely cruise, eh?
David Thomas (2025-07-18, 8:02 a.m.):
We didn't spot any whales during this time of the year, but the boat journey itself was absolutely splendid.
Roger Green (2025-07-17, 9:51 p.m.):
We had a jolly good time on the tour.
The chaps and gals running the show were ever so friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
We spotted a right load of whales right from the get-go.
Later on, we also caught sight of those fascinating puffins.
The sea was as calm as can be.
Cheers to all for providing us with such a marvelous experience.
Susan Adams (2025-07-15, 5:07 p.m.):
We didn't end up going on the tour, but we were quite impressed that they phoned to cancel due to the weather. We knew of some folks who went on different tours and couldn't see a thing because of the fog, and also felt queasy from the choppy waters. Big thanks to Bonavista Puffin & Whale tours for being ready to cancel and refund our payment.
Charles Davis (2025-07-15, 1:13 a.m.):
We witnessed numerous whales during our tour, the skipper had a knack for spotting them and shared fascinating insights about these magnificent creatures. His tales of fishing and the sea added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. The pricing for the two-hour trip was quite fair. It's worth noting that certain sights, like icebergs, are only visible during specific seasons. As for puffins, it's best to catch a glimpse of them early in the morning or in the evening when they are not out at sea feeding; the skipper provided us with all this valuable information.
Jeffrey Hamilton (2025-07-11, 2:33 p.m.):
Superb value, cozy boat, and delightful skipper and crew.
Noah Stewart (2025-07-11, 1:40 a.m.):
Totally worth the experience, I must say!
Andrea Alexander (2025-07-10, 9:20 p.m.):
Absolutely fantastic folks. Top-notch skipper!
Jeremy Turner (2025-07-09, 5:24 p.m.):
Absolutely marvelous! The team was simply splendid, and the boat excursion ended up being longer than planned. They guided us around a rather distant iceberg not once, but twice - remarkably close to the iceberg itself. I would highly recommend these chaps, 10 out of 10!
Victoria Sullivan (2025-07-07, 3:12 p.m.):
Bob was absolutely lovely, a true gem.
Kenneth Allen (2025-07-07, 2:18 a.m.):
The allure of a local first mate regaling tales as you spot humpback whales is truly unparalleled. Their 35-person vessel features a restroom (or 'head') and an upper observation deck.
Dorothy Hernandez (2025-07-05, 8:43 a.m.):
"Absolutely chuffed with the PUFFIN BOAT! It truly elevated my entire trip with this delightful iceberg and tour."
Larry Cruz (2025-06-29, 4:22 a.m.):
The prices were quite affordable, and the staff was extremely welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back again.
Kathleen Hall (2025-06-24, 11:47 a.m.):
Spotted whales, beheld icebergs, and caught sight of puffins. What more could I ask for?
Margaret Cox (2025-06-21, 3:02 p.m.):
Incredible experience! Witnessed an abundance of whales, puffins, and even a shark during the tour!
Doris White (2025-06-20, 11:08 a.m.):
Absolutely smashing tour, old chap! I had the jolly good fortune of spotting a splendid array of whales and charming puffins. Quite the delightful experience, I must say!
Gary Gonzalez (2025-06-20, 2:00 a.m.):
What a fantastic experience! We had an amazing time spotting whales with a top-notch captain and crew. There were so many breathtaking moments that left us in awe. I can't recommend this tour agency enough!
Janet Cooper (2025-06-17, 6:12 a.m.):
The staff were so friendly and really knew their stuff. We went on a boat tour on the 20th of May, 2018. We spotted an iceberg and some puffins during the 2.5-hour tour. It was truly an amazing experience.
