Just had the most splendiferous 3-hour jaunt with Bob, exploring the colossal icebergs, fascinating bird life, and astonishingly rugged shoreline of Bonavista. I can't recommend the zodiac experience enough over those larger tour vessels. Our group of 8 grown-ups and 3 grandkids, ages 10 to 12, had an absolute blast on our Whale Watching Tour today. It was truly exceptional. Captain Bob made sure we got to see plenty of whales, and we were even treated to a delightful encounter with a lively group of porpoises. Y'all, I reckon it was late May when I had the pleasure of takin' this boat tour on me Newfoundland trip. Captain Bob was simply amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a grand ol' time. We started off by circlin' 'round an iceberg a few times and even got to touch some of the ice. Then we set off after a tricky whale for a spell before headin' to an island teemin' with thousands of birds. Watchin' them birds take flight is a sight to behold, let me tell ya. Next, we got up close to the shore where we saw some jaw-droppin' rock formations and caves, includin' the very spot where that Peter Pan film was shot. The zodiac boat could reach places the big boats can't, and it also takes an odd number of folks; if you find yerself as the odd one out, I'd suggest tryin' the seat at the front. Aye, 'twas a tour to remember, no doubt about it!
