Upon the suggestion of a mate, I popped by EJ Cellphone Repair on West Broadway in Kitsilano. I was facing some bother with my charging port or battery and was considering the idea of purchasing a new iPhone since apple isn't great at sorting out their issues, only promoting new models. Nevertheless, the bloke I spoke to and who assisted me was Chris Wang. Him and his colleague were quite kind, professional, patient and knowledgeable and in no time offered me a solution for the repair. I gave the go-ahead and within an hour from that moment, he had my phone up and running again. I was chuffed with the service and will definitely return if I encounter any other issues with my phone or computers. I'll also recommend them to anyone in need of an honest assessment and fix to a problem that will save them time, effort and money. I popped in for a screen repair on me old phone. They asked for a wee deposit while they hunted down the part, and after a week, they shot me a text saying the part had arrived and they could fix me phone in a couple of hours.
They not only got the job done in two hours as they said, but they also tidied up some other scratches me phone had picked up over the last five years. Me phone feels a tad heavier now, probably 'cause the original parts are hard to come by, but I'm well chuffed with the repair and their friendly service.
A cracking repair at a fair price, no doubt about it.

Initially, I believed my phone was beyond repair, but it turned out that only the glass screen cover had detached from the phone after I accidentally dropped it. This made typing on the screen impossible. Chris effortlessly cleaned the phone and replaced the glass screen cover, and now it's even better than new!

Chris successfully retrieved a broken micro SD card from my Go Pro camera. He mentioned he would charge me $60 only if he succeeded, but wouldn't charge me if he couldn't - an excellent offer.
He accomplished the task and got back to me in a day or two.
