The Banff Public Library is truly a gem in the heart of Banff. The collection is top-notch, the reading room is so inviting and filled with an impressive array of magazines. But what truly sets the Banff Public Library apart is the staff - so friendly and always ready to help. This place is my sanctuary in Banff, I absolutely adore it!

This library is absolutely fantastic! The space is so open and welcoming, with a bright and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff here are incredibly courteous and helpful. Plus, there are plenty of outlets available for your own laptop. It's a top-notch location for sure!

A wonderful spot for reading and studying indeed!
Sandra Kim (2025-06-19, 12:11 a.m.):
What a charming spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center tourism. I just completed my book and intend to purchase another for a mere 2 bucks for my plane journey home! The atmosphere is delightful, and they offer printing services in a multitude of languages that I couldn't even begin to name. A truly welcoming place indeed!
Logan Turner (2025-06-18, 8:54 p.m.):
One rainy day, we decided to pay a visit to this lovely public library with our little 11-month-old bundle of joy, and oh boy, did we have a smashing good time! The kids' corner was chock-full of books and toys that kept her gleefully occupied. And let me tell you, I was positively chuffed when I stumbled upon the public food pantry and was utterly gobsmacked by the Library of Things stocked with an assortment of goodies like tools, kitchenware, and whatnot. What a jolly good find, indeed!

The lady behind the counter was ever so kind and helpful!!!
Karen Anderson (2025-06-12, 1:44 a.m.):
I must say, this library is absolutely fantastic! I was in need of a meeting space and the team really went out of their way to assist me. Despite the library's meeting room being fully booked, they took the time to research alternative options and worked together to help me find a suitable place (and they did!). The atmosphere in the library is delightful, with ongoing community projects that add to its charm. Additionally, the free wifi access without the need for a library card or login is a huge plus. They offer valuable community resources such as free diapers and menstrual products, as well as information on where to seek support if needed. The library also has designated study areas for those who require them. I genuinely adore this library space :)
Ryan Kim (2025-06-11, 10:15 a.m.):
I cannot express my gratitude enough for the incredible assistance I received from the staff at this library. As a traveler from the UK embarking on a cycling journey along the Great Divide, I found myself in a predicament when I realized I needed to swap out my European map for a North American map on my Garmin device for off-grid navigation. This process could only be done using a PC as it was not feasible through wifi on my mobile phone. Through multiple extensions of internet time, I was able to download the necessary program for Windows and get everything sorted out. The staff truly went above and beyond to help me, and I am immensely thankful. This library is a gem for the local community, offering free books, second-hand books for sale, and a unique feature - the "library of things" section. If you're in the area, make sure to pay a visit!
Christine Bailey (2025-06-04, 5:28 a.m.):
The staff at this place are simply amazing, always ready to lend a hand and offer assistance. They also have a variety of community resources on offer, such as a food pantry and a tool library. Great experience overall!
Philip Wright (2025-06-02, 8:41 a.m.):
Lovely library with very accommodating staff. Lots of comfortable seating for folks with laptops, and power outlets are conveniently located nearby. Printing is reasonably priced at 25 cents per sheet and quite straightforward to use. The open WiFi is reliable and speedy, although it appears to restrict access to VPNs. I encountered difficulty connecting two devices simultaneously. While there isn't dedicated library parking, finding a spot in the surrounding public parking areas can be a bit tricky; however, with some patience, you should be able to locate a space or ideally, hop on the bus.
Gabriel Miller (2025-06-01, 5:52 a.m.):
The staff at the local public library in Banff are absolutely delightful, and the registration process is a breeze. One of the most exciting features they offer is the ability to borrow various items such as kitchen appliances and tools. It's simply fantastic!
Aaron Moore (2025-05-27, 12:43 a.m.):
Lovely little library with a charming staff and a peaceful ambiance. The library offers complimentary wifi, although at times it experiences brief interruptions. This can cause some minor inconveniences as my devices struggle to reconnect afterwards.
Albert King (2025-05-24, 2:23 a.m.):
Charming neighborhood library. Complimentary wifi. Scanning and printing services on hand, with black and white prints priced at just 25 cents per page. The librarian team is delightful and ever so accommodating. Plus, no pesky late fees to worry about. Quite the gem!
Rachel Johnson (2025-05-23, 4:24 p.m.):
I absolutely adore this charming library. While it may not be the grandest you've ever laid eyes upon, the ambiance is incredibly warm and inviting. If you can't locate your desired book on the shelves, inquire about an inter-library loan. The personnel here are exceptionally accommodating, making it a journey well worth embarking on.
Megan Murphy (2025-05-22, 8:37 a.m.):
A brilliant place to expand the mind and ponder. Tremendous array of books, periodicals, media, and a "toolbox of knowledge". The staff is truly exceptional in their expertise.
Patricia Morris (2025-05-21, 9:20 p.m.):
The children's section is superb! A fantastic spot to while away the hours if you find yourself in need of cozy shelter from the chilly weather outside.
Jessica Russell (2025-05-21, 5:18 a.m.):
Great overall experience for the whole family.
