During the sale of our house, the buyer decided to enlist the services of a Notary at this Longueuil establishment. It took the Notary 2 attempts to reach the correct amount of money to be reimbursed to us for the sale. They assured us verbally that the check for said amount would be ready for pick-up at their office on Belanger Street (which happens to be closer to my workplace and more convenient for me) on a specific day. However, the check was not available as promised. I had to adjust my work schedule for both the promised and actual days of pick-up, resulting in a loss of paid hours. I suggested alternative solutions to have MY funds delivered to me (such as courier service at their expense) on the promised day, but they were unwilling to honor their commitment and deliver the check as agreed. The customer service experience was extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this establishment.

One of the worst notary experiences I've had so far. My file had several errors and I ended up having to pay my agent out of my own pocket due to their mistake. After a series of payment delays caused by a banking error (according to them), they directly paid me the commission intended for my agent without specifying that the check, made out in my name, included the commission amount for my agent. This meant I had to manually write a check to Remax to cover the commission.
Additionally, when I changed banks for my mortgage, they failed to send the discharge notice to my previous lender, leading to numerous calls and wasted time on my part.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve these issues, the office denied any responsibility and essentially brushed off my concerns. I am strongly considering filing a complaint with the notary's office. For a service costing $1200, I certainly expected much better service.

Guanglei DIAO (Frank) was the notary that our buyers selected. He was quite rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, and failed to meet closing dates. In my 15 years of experience in real estate transactions, I have never encountered such unprofessionalism. I regret to say that I cannot recommend his services to anyone. While I hesitate to leave negative feedback, this individual truly stands out for all the wrong reasons.
