Dining at Basha Lebanese Restaurant in Bois-des-Filion

If you’re searching for delightful Lebanese cuisine in Bois-des-Filion, Quebec, look no further than Basha Lebanese Restaurant. Despite being a newcomer to the area, it has quickly gained attention for its unique offerings, but reviews have shown mixed experiences.

Accessibility and Amenities

Basha is equipped with several amenities to ensure accessibility for all diners. The restaurant features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, as well as a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Additionally, there is a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easy for guests with mobility issues to access the restaurant without hassle. Parking is also convenient—with a free parking lot available for customers, alongside free of charge street parking options nearby.

Dining Options and Service

The restaurant prides itself on a variety of dining options, suitable for solo dining or group gatherings. Whether you prefer to dine-in or opt for takeaway, Basha caters to both preferences. Their service options include delivery, allowing you to enjoy Lebanese dishes from the comfort of your home. Many patrons have lauded the freshness and taste of the food, particularly items like the Shish Taouk platter and various small plates. However, some reviews indicate inconsistencies in service quality and meal preparation. For instance, concerns have been raised about the portion sizes and the pricing being higher compared to other Basha locations.

Menu Offerings and Pricing

Basha offers an array of offerings, including healthy options such as salads and grilled meats. Customers can choose from classic Lebanese favorites, but feedback suggests that the portions may be smaller than expected for the price, with some dishes labeled as overpriced. Additionally, many found it frustrating that certain accompaniments, such as garlic sauce for potatoes, are offered at an extra charge, which is often not the case in other similar establishments. The prices for dishes like the Shawarma Pita have been criticized as being steep, especially when considering the portion sizes.

Payment Flexibility

For your convenience, Basha accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments, ensuring a smooth transaction process.

Final Thoughts

While Basha Lebanese Restaurant in Bois-des-Filion aims to deliver a satisfying dining experience with its accessibility, diverse menu options, and fresh ingredients, it's essential for potential customers to be aware of the mixed reviews surrounding food quality and pricing. Whether you're stopping by for a quick dinner, arranging catering for an event, or enjoying dessert, consider visiting Basha for a taste of Lebanese hospitality—but perhaps keep in mind the recent feedback regarding their service and portion sizes.

In between each customer ahead of us, he has them pay by tapping the terminal and the cash register without washing his hands or wearing gloves.... I was craving a pita shish taouk.... Oh no, thank you. I'll pass!
Martha Price (2025-06-17, 12:33 a.m.):
There was hardly any garlic sauce in the Shish Taouk pita, and they forgot to add garlic sauce to the potatoes. All of that for $35 for just the two of us! 🤦

I must say, I found the prices to be a tad on the steep side and was surprised to discover additional charges for every little request. After spending over $50 on my meal, I decided to add some extra garlic sauce, only to be hit with yet another fee. Quite frankly, it felt like a bit of a ripoff to me.

I must say, the prices are a bit on the high side. I was a tad disappointed to find that the potatoes weren't garlic potatoes, just fried ones. And can you believe they actually charge $1.50 for the garlic sauce? The service could definitely use some improvement as well.
Larry Fisher (2025-06-13, 5:16 p.m.):
I tried the chicken platter here, and let me tell you, it was not good at all. The salads were way too salty and tasted off, there wasn't much variety either. The vine leaves were soggy and the chicken was dry as a bone. I couldn't even finish my plate! My partner's pitas were also dry and made him feel sick. And to top it off, the garlic sauce that usually comes with the trio had to be paid for separately this time. We spent $53 and it was a total waste! I definitely won't be coming back here, so do yourself a favor and steer clear!

The food is so fresh and delicious, oh my God, it's amazing.
Noah Richardson (2025-06-03, 4:26 a.m.):
£13.49 for a pita trio and an extra £1.50 for garlic sauce on the potatoes? Absolutely outrageous! This place is a complete disappointment!
Virginia Morris (2025-06-01, 11:46 a.m.):
The experience was alright, but they charge extra for everything. The woman serving us seemed a bit clueless, but the man was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When asked for extras, he agreed while she reluctantly refused. This left me feeling disappointed with the service, making me hesitant to return. I've never been charged extra for garlic sauce before! When requesting both sauces, she denied it stating it was not their usual practice. I also requested no lettuce in my dish, but alas, my tabbouleh arrived with lettuce. And there was an additional charge for a different salad too. The prices were high, with a dish costing $45 that included mixed meats and two salad choices - definitely on the pricey side. I was close to walking out and leaving the dishes behind, I was so surprised by the whole experience.

I just can't wrap my head around how there could be so many blunders with a basic order. I shelled out 109 bucks through Uber, only to find out they missed 4 drinks, the dry potatoes arrived without the garlic sauce, and the shawarma plate was as dry as a piece of wood. This experience was utterly absurd, and I have no intentions of placing an order at this place ever again.
Daniel White (2025-05-31, 4:32 a.m.):
Absolutely fantastic and consistently fresh! Not to mention, much healthier than the fast food joint across the road.
