Dining at Basha Lebanese Restaurant in Bois-des-Filion

If you’re searching for delightful Lebanese cuisine in Bois-des-Filion, Quebec, look no further than Basha Lebanese Restaurant. Despite being a newcomer to the area, it has quickly gained attention for its unique offerings, but reviews have shown mixed experiences.

Accessibility and Amenities

Basha is equipped with several amenities to ensure accessibility for all diners. The restaurant features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, as well as a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Additionally, there is a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easy for guests with mobility issues to access the restaurant without hassle. Parking is also convenient—with a free parking lot available for customers, alongside free of charge street parking options nearby.

Dining Options and Service

The restaurant prides itself on a variety of dining options, suitable for solo dining or group gatherings. Whether you prefer to dine-in or opt for takeaway, Basha caters to both preferences. Their service options include delivery, allowing you to enjoy Lebanese dishes from the comfort of your home. Many patrons have lauded the freshness and taste of the food, particularly items like the Shish Taouk platter and various small plates. However, some reviews indicate inconsistencies in service quality and meal preparation. For instance, concerns have been raised about the portion sizes and the pricing being higher compared to other Basha locations.

Menu Offerings and Pricing

Basha offers an array of offerings, including healthy options such as salads and grilled meats. Customers can choose from classic Lebanese favorites, but feedback suggests that the portions may be smaller than expected for the price, with some dishes labeled as overpriced. Additionally, many found it frustrating that certain accompaniments, such as garlic sauce for potatoes, are offered at an extra charge, which is often not the case in other similar establishments. The prices for dishes like the Shawarma Pita have been criticized as being steep, especially when considering the portion sizes.

Payment Flexibility

For your convenience, Basha accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments, ensuring a smooth transaction process.

Final Thoughts

While Basha Lebanese Restaurant in Bois-des-Filion aims to deliver a satisfying dining experience with its accessibility, diverse menu options, and fresh ingredients, it's essential for potential customers to be aware of the mixed reviews surrounding food quality and pricing. Whether you're stopping by for a quick dinner, arranging catering for an event, or enjoying dessert, consider visiting Basha for a taste of Lebanese hospitality—but perhaps keep in mind the recent feedback regarding their service and portion sizes.

I was rather disappointed with the service; the meat was cold and dry. I shan't be returning there anytime soon.
Daisy Cruz (2025-07-19, 11:23 a.m.):
The staff are so friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The food is really fresh and the portions are huge. I highly recommend trying the mixed plate, it's absolutely delicious!
Willie Turner (2025-07-18, 4:23 a.m.):
Absolutely thrilled to finally dine indoors with the Vaxicode. The food was top-notch and the staff were simply delightful. Can't wait to make a return visit soon!
Mia Ward (2025-07-17, 4:27 a.m.):
The food at this Lebanese restaurant is absolutely scrumptious!
Lauren Brooks (2025-07-14, 12:22 a.m.):
I paid nearly 20 dollars for a headache and stomach upset. Won't be returning, mate. If you're reading this, steer clear of the Shawarma, it's not up to scratch. Cheers.
Theresa Barnes (2025-07-12, 11:57 a.m.):
I must express my disappointment with the poutine I ordered at this Lebanese restaurant. The potatoes were undercooked, leaving them crunchy and far from the desired texture.
Anthony Foster (2025-07-12, 2:11 a.m.):
Great service and quick delivery. The food was absolutely scrumptious!
Judith Moore (2025-07-11, 6:01 a.m.):
I must say, quite disappointed with the quality of the food considering the steep prices. Surprisingly, our potatoes were served without the essential garlic sauce. The lady attending to us lacked warmth and hospitality. This visit will certainly be our first and last. On a positive note, the offer of 2 shish taouk trios for $35 was a true bargain.
Justin James (2025-07-08, 11:00 p.m.):
I ordered the shawarma in pita, but honestly, it was just a bunch of lettuce, no meat at all! Quite disappointing, I must say.
Allison Jackson (2025-07-03, 7:29 a.m.):
The portions were quite small given the price...
Emily Rivera (2025-07-03, 4:17 a.m.):
I've been to this place twice now, and I decided to give it another shot after my first visit wasn't so great. The prices were high, the food wasn't very flavorful, and they didn't even have tabbouleh on the menu which was a disappointment for me. I was quite surprised by the cost - a shawarma dish costs nearly $17, and if you want tabbouleh instead, that's an extra $1 (usually it's around $14.30 to $14.99 in most Basha restaurants). The portion sizes were also not very generous - two teenage boys in my group were still hungry after finishing their meals. We had to specifically ask for turnip and pepper on our three plates, as they weren't automatically included. The hummus was mediocre, and the garlic mayo was not up to par either. If you're looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine, this might not be the best choice.
Lawrence Smith (2025-07-02, 8:29 p.m.):
This review does not do justice to Basha! The portion sizes are actually quite generous, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Plus, they have a variety of delicious sides that you can add on for a complete meal.
Alexander Sanders (2025-07-02, 5:36 p.m.):
Absolutely splendid! The service was decent, I must say.
Eric Coleman (2025-07-01, 5:48 a.m.):
I recently dined at this Lebanese restaurant and I must say, I was quite displeased with my experience. I opted for the beef shawarma trio priced at $18.50, however, the portion sizes were rather small, mostly comprised of green salad with minimal meat, approximately 30 grams to be precise. The quality of the food left much to be desired.

Upon questioning the waiter about the serving size, I was met with a nonchalant response, stating that this is the standard size for their sandwiches. Moreover, when I attempted to take photos for feedback purposes, the waiter discouraged me from doing so and offered to increase the meat quantity.

In all honesty, this visit will be my first and last to this establishment. I strongly recommend against dining here as you may find the experience underwhelming.
Bradley Hill (2025-06-29, 4:39 a.m.):
Delicious food. Top-notch service. The poor lad was on his own, hustling in the heat. Yet, he kept a grin on his face throughout.
Jason Kim (2025-06-27, 5:01 p.m.):
This spot is top-notch, the grub is banging! The shawarma is legit delicious.
Tyler Price (2025-06-27, 10:36 a.m.):
Oi mate, just had me some mini pita and spuds at this Lebanese joint. Got charged an extra $1.50 for a smidge of garlic sauce, proper gutted about it. Save your dosh, it ain't worth it. It's a rip-off for sure! 😡...
Scott Johnson (2025-06-23, 10:31 p.m.):
I'm keen on supporting local businesses, and after reading the reviews, I must say I might give your establishment a miss. It's crucial for the owners to adapt to feedback because nowadays, opinions hold a lot of sway. Best of luck!
Christina Walker (2025-06-23, 6:56 a.m.):
Chilly grub
Never got my sips
Told to fetch 'em myself... I might as well have stayed home and hit up the market with that $60 for a couple of plates
Deborah Kim (2025-06-19, 1:33 p.m.):
The spuds were absolutely freezing and tasted like they'd been left out for ages, and there wasn't even any garlic sauce. The tabbouleh was like cardboard, completely devoid of any flavor, not even a touch of lemon. The shish taouk pita wasn't even warmed up properly. And all that for $18, without even a drink included.
