As a result, the piece ended up with a large crack when I put it in my bag, despite showing it to the staff and expressing my concerns about its safety.
It was concerning that such expensive minerals were not given proper packaging, with just tissue paper and a plastic bag provided. This experience has left me feeling disappointed, especially considering the amount I had spent. If this is the standard packaging for customers, I would caution against spending money on beautiful specimens that may end up damaged unless one brings their own packaging to address this issue.
