I absolutely adore the Best Buy over at Fairview. We've consistently received top-notch treatment. Whenever we've encountered any problems with a product, they've swiftly and equitably resolved the issue. Their product range is quite impressive. The employees are well-informed, polite, and ready to assist.

Horrific shopping experience, I must say. I ventured into the store this morning with the intention of purchasing a freezer. Upon seeking assistance, I was instructed to wait a mere 2 minutes at the counter for help. However, to my dismay, after 30 minutes had passed, I approached another employee who assured me that aid was on its way. After enduring a tiresome 45-minute wait, still no one came to my aid. It was as if I were invisible, with every staff member seemingly oblivious to my presence despite the store not being overly busy. In sheer frustration, I made my way to Best Buy Marche Central, where I waited a mere 5 minutes before successfully acquiring my desired freezer. My advice would be to steer clear of Best Buy Pointe Claire; you would undeniably receive more attentive service elsewhere!

Outstanding service! Purchased a telly and they assisted me in getting it to the motor with utmost care.
Evelyn Hill (2025-06-10, 8:29 a.m.):
Oh dear, the return policy is quite dreadful. One must pay close attention to the fine print as there are numerous exceptions for qualifying returns and refunds. I would advise against making a purchase from this establishment. It may be wiser to consider shopping at Costco or Amazon, where return policies tend to be more accommodating.

The wait for assistance was a tad lengthy, but once Sunny, the computer expert, came to our aid, we were met with top-notch service. Sunny was friendly, well-informed, and straightforward. He asked insightful questions, foresaw our future requirements, and tailored his suggestions to our specific needs. He also provided fantastic alternatives that empowered us to make a more informed choice. The entire experience was fantastic! Sunny truly deserves a pat on the back.

The shop is massive and tidy with tight aisles. I popped in to grab a screen protector for my phone. The geek squad were ever so polite and efficient, but it's advisable to double-check their work as I had to go back to get it redone. I will be giving them another shot this week, so watch this space. Indeed, I did return. The issue with my phone screen was swiftly diagnosed and fixed within minutes. My phone is now working perfectly once more.

The staff at this store are clueless. It's like they don't know their head from their behind. It's impossible to find someone to assist you. I waited an hour and a half just to have a display case unlocked, even though I knew exactly what I wanted. When an associate finally showed up, they greeted me and then left to help someone else before even listening to me. Completely disrespectful. Save yourself the trouble and go straight to the source. You're likely to find what you need at a better price. The DSLR camera I was looking for was much cheaper there, and they helped me out in just 15 minutes!

I wouldn't recommend investing in the extended warranty, mate. They're a right dodgy bunch, always giving you the runaround and never holding up their end of the bargain. I've been trying to get in touch with them for ages, mate, but no luck. I've reached out to every department under the sun, even tried me luck with head office. They said they'd get back to me, but it's been 7 months now and still no word. And that link you sent? Straight back to your site, no help at all. Starting to feel like a right game they're playing with me. Might have to reach out to consumer protection, see if they can sort this mess out.
Randy Evans (2025-05-30, 11:30 a.m.):
There's this bloke at the shop, Sunny is his name. He's a real gem, I tell ya. The other day, I was on a mission to find this one item and couldn't for the life of me. But Sunny, oh Sunny, he sorted me right out with all the info I needed. And get this, I'd gone and injured my leg at the gym because of leg day, of all things. But Sunny, bless him, he carried me to the car. Then I had to admit I wasn't up to driving, so he kindly drove me home and hoofed it back to work. Top bloke, that Sunny. Five stars from me, no doubt about it.

Avoid Worst Buy at all costs! How many attempts does it take for them to deliver according to the customer's wishes? We are currently on our third try and hoping for the best. The blame falls on the third-party delivery team, but who decided to partner with them? Not me.
This review doesn't reflect negatively on the store or its employees we encountered, but rather on the overall dysfunctional processes that Worst Buy has in place. They seem to struggle with ensuring customer satisfaction and efficiency.
We usually spend money to bring happiness into our lives, but with Worst Buy, it feels like we're inviting frustration and misery instead. The endless calls and emails needed to receive what we paid for in good faith are truly exhausting.
Donald Gonzalez (2025-05-25, 6:39 a.m.):
They told us to leave just because we were young? We didn't even do anything wrong. They said, "We have a policy that if you're not making a purchase, you have to leave." Definitely the worst staff ever.
Mark Reed (2025-05-24, 5:59 p.m.):
Absolute rubbish, mate! The staff at this place are more interested in gossiping than assisting customers. They never seem to have the items on sale in stock, and the prices on the shelves are always wrong. When I pointed out the incorrect price to an employee, he just told me to check the item's SKU on the Best Buy website. Like I'm going to waste my time on their site! From now on, Amazon will be getting all of my business for anything I would have bought at Best Buy. I reckon Best Buy is headed for the same fate as Future Shop.
Beverly Hayes (2025-05-22, 10:49 p.m.):
If you're in need of assistance, don't hesitate to consult Reine. She's a real expert in the field. When we entered seeking advice on Bluetooth speakers, I presented her with the choice between a pricier option and a more straightforward model. She provided me with a candid response along with a detailed explanation of her reasoning. As it turns out, the high-end model doesn't live up to its reputation. Cheers, queen 👑 …

I was quite disappointed to find that the XBOX game pass included in the controller box had already been redeemed.
Catherine Reed (2025-05-20, 8:40 a.m.):
On Monday, July 29, 2024 at 3:27 PM, I strolled into the Best Buy in Pointe-Claire around 2:46 PM. As I wandered through the store, it seemed they might be understaffed as I couldn't spot anyone on the sales floor. After a bit of searching, I finally encountered a couple of employees who pointed me in the direction of the Samsung tablets. After browsing for a while, I managed to flag down another employee and requested to purchase a tablet. He instructed me to return to the section and wait. I waited for over 10 minutes but by 3:26 PM, I had decided to leave. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll be taking my tablet purchase elsewhere. Best of luck to the staff who did show up for their shifts. They deserve better treatment, but so do the customers.
Allison Morris (2025-05-20, 5:32 a.m.):
We popped into the store in Pointe-Claire yesterday and were super impressed with the friendly vibes from the staff, especially Sindy who assisted us with our purchase. She really knew her stuff about the products and even helped us with a price match. Employees like her are top-notch and made our shopping experience at Best Buy a delight. We hope that all Best Buy stores have such wonderful staff members like her.
Diane Carter (2025-05-16, 8:48 p.m.):
Absolutely dreadful service. Please consider upgrading your personnel. The customer service at your front desk is simply abysmal. I received zero assistance from your staff. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this store. I requested help to no avail.
Rachel Reed (2025-05-14, 7:40 a.m.):
It was a breeze picking up my preorder in-store. The layout at this Best Buy felt familiar and welcoming, just like other locations.
Jonathan Robinson (2025-05-14, 2:35 a.m.):
Terrible service, quite a few of the staff are awfully disrespectful, particularly this girl Imane at the service desk. I've heard of similar encounters here.
Catherine Allen (2025-05-13, 11:41 p.m.):
It's alright, mate. This Best Buy store is likely the best one in town, but that's not saying much considering how rubbish the other stores are.
Just like always with Best Buy, it's a challenge to track down a staff member here. However, when you do find someone, they're usually quite cheerful and helpful.
