The plaza where Walmart is located is in a rather decent area. Upon initial entry, it may appear slightly dilapidated, but the staff is exceedingly friendly and there is a wide variety of food options available, including a McDonald's. I would highly recommend it.

For a spot that vends pet toys, leashes, pet chow and other pet provisions you would assume they would be pet welcoming. This ain't the case. Not having it prominently displayed on the front door or by the entrance could spare an animal enthusiast the awkwardness of turning back and buying elsewhere that is pet affable. A store that showed up in our village brought a lot of wares but as soon as they pushed out the competition, the care and items decreased. Thank you Canadian Tire and Giant Tiger for being pet accommodating and providing products and service. I understand that my patronage doesn't mean much to this big company however I won't be patronizing there again. Its cheap goods and dreadful service won't stop me from shopping in this town as there are myriad fantastic stores and services that I can opt for, Walmart won't be one.

The only gripe we 'ave is the same as most folks, the push toward self-checkout. In our neck of the woods, most people still prefer to interact with a human when finalizing their purchases. There be one checkout attendant we ain't keen on and will make an effort to steer clear of 'er.

Great spot for picking up groceries and all sorts of household essentials in one go. They always seem to have everything in stock, and their customer service is top-notch. Plus, there are plenty of other shops in the plaza for all your shopping needs. Parking is also a breeze, always plenty of spaces available.
Jeremy Henderson (2025-05-31, 4:23 a.m.):
It's a Walmart. No worse than some, no better than many. Not the best I've been in and not the worst. Good selection of your standard fare. Some decent quality low-cost household goods, and I do love some of the men's George line.

Do NOT comply with the scanning code of practice, despite having a huge sign at the customer service desk. Do NOT promote adherence to the scanning code of practice if you're going to dispute with your customers about items being mislabeled/priced incorrectly by YOUR own staff. Customer service instructs you to return the item if you're dissatisfied with their price, even though it was labeled incorrectly and falls within the parameters of the scanning code of conduct.

I absolutely adore this Wal-Mart! I must admit, I haven't visited them as frequently lately due to consistently disappointing store experiences. Untidy aisles, lack of assistance, sparse inventory, and limited choices left me dissatisfied. However, this particular location exceeded all my expectations. A spacious store with a well-planned layout, extensive product offerings, impeccable cleanliness, and proactive staff members readily available to assist. When I find myself in need of a Wal-Mart visit, this will undoubtedly be my go-to destination.

I come 'ere for products clothes and food. There's a McDonald's in this location as well as washrooms. I do not use the other services like photo, since I know it's not of quality like I'd get at an actual photography studio. Always fast cashiers, and I've never 'ad problems findin' what I needed.
Douglas Coleman (2025-05-25, 12:53 p.m.):
I was next in line at the check out. I placed my items on the conveyor belt, but the person in front of me couldn't pay, so they left to get money. They were going to make me wait until they returned. Instead, I decided to leave everything there and go home. Thank you for the great service. You would think they would have canceled their order and rung me through, but no.
Russell Mitchell (2025-05-24, 3:06 p.m.):
We purchase 90% of our groceries from this department store since we reside in the nearby condos. It's very convenient, with competitive prices and a wide selection of products. While some items may not always be in stock, it remains a great place to shop overall.
Ava Cox (2025-05-21, 3:32 p.m.):
I purchased the $5 black forest cake, which has always been fantastic. However, they have recently switched to an eggless black forest cake recipe. Simply dreadful. A complete waste of my hard-earned cash. Please, bring back the original recipe.
Mia Henderson (2025-05-18, 2:14 p.m.):
Fantastic deals and a splendid array of products. A wonderful place for all your shopping needs! There are plenty of staff members available to assist you in locating items or addressing any queries you may have. I could easily while away the hours in that store!
Doris Reyes (2025-05-15, 2:40 p.m.):
I occasionally frequent this Walmart. They also have a delightful garden center. The staff were most friendly and helpful.
Carol Peterson (2025-05-14, 1:24 p.m.):
Everything was brilliant apart from the service and attitude of the employees. It was 6 pm, tons of people, and only 2 cashiers available. When I politely enquired about the possibility of opening a few more registers, the response I received from customer service was, "We don't have anyone available," yet simultaneously, I noticed groups of 3-4 employees just standing around chatting. Quite a frustrating experience, I must say!
Donald Cruz (2025-05-08, 4:33 p.m.):
A few customers can be a tad rambunctious and may put a damper on the cashier's day. Apart from that, it's a fantastic spot to grab essentials in a hurry and enjoy some food (they even have a McDonald's inside the store).
Theresa Russell (2025-05-07, 2:17 p.m.):
The lady at the checkout (senior) will do racism at you and accuse you of stealing because of your skin color. Train her again, it would be good for you Walmart. Stop judging people that they did not pay, I had to show her receipt and payment for each item.
Janice Perez (2025-05-05, 5:36 p.m.):
I found Surbhi to be one of the top employees at Walmart. Helpful, polite, and I always saw her with a smile on her face.
Rachel Graham (2025-05-02, 10:36 a.m.):
I had a right awful experience at the customer service department. If you're wanting to make a return, I'd suggest trying another Walmart store, else you'll be feeling like a proper chump.

It all went down just yesterday - I was in line and there was this elderly gentleman right before me. He wanted to return a new mop (still in its package). The folks at customer service were dead rude to him, kept asking, "Have you already used it?" It really got my goat.

When I tried to return some baby formula with the receipt, bought only 4 days prior, they flat out said no. I explained that I had only opened one bottle out of the 24-pack because my little one wouldn't take it. Still, they wouldn’t budge.

Afterwards, I rang up Walmart to inquire about their return policy (couldn't find any restrictions on the receipt). They told me they do accept returns for baby formula. So, I took it to another store and got it sorted without any hassle.

I just can't wrap my head around those folk working over there. They're meant to be following store policy, but they're making the whole place seem second-rate.
Roger Foster (2025-05-01, 9:46 p.m.):
The cashier was absolutely dreadful, didn't even bother speaking to me as she was too occupied gossiping with a colleague who was off duty. Then, when it was time to settle the bill, she simply swiveled the screen towards me and jabbed at the total without a word. Gave me a downright nasty glare, as if we couldn't manage to foot the bill. Utterly let down by the team here; being pleasant isn't rocket science – this is precisely why self-checkouts are taking over.
Nathan Nguyen (2025-04-27, 9:53 p.m.):
Aye, this place is proper handy, innit? They've got clothes, grub (with a proper grocery section), school gear, bits for the gaff, a pharmacy, toys, gadgets, stuff for the little ones, hardware and tools, sports gear, workout bits, and seasonal bits and bobs... Oh, it's a Walmart mate. Just so you know, they've even got a McDonald's and a bloke sorting out legal documents inside the shop. How mad is that?
