One of the most splendid towns we’ve ever visited! We had a marvelous couple of days staying there during a delightful road trip vacation through the Rocky Mountains. I must say, if given the chance, I would gladly settle down in Banff!

Absolutely stunning! The abundance of mountains surrounding the town is truly underrated. It feels as though they are constantly watching over you wherever you go. This charming little town has so much to offer, with an array of restaurants and shops that give off a cozy, homely vibe. It wasn't too crowded when I visited, and the parking app was a lifesaver, providing real-time updates. The outdoor patio scenes during summer were delightful, and I am already planning to return during the winter months!

It's a lovely wee town, but it's gotten a bit too commercialized for my taste. Nevertheless, it still offers a truly breathtaking and one-of-a-kind experience for visitors to the stunning Canadian Rockies!

Oh, Banff is an absolute gem! There's just so much to see and do there for anyone looking to visit. I'd even go as far as saying it's a great destination no matter the weather!
Jessica Ortiz (2025-05-19, 2:11 p.m.):
Banff is truly a stunning place, no question about it. However, my experience with parking has left me quite frustrated, which is why I am only giving one star. The village lacks adequate parking spaces, and the fines they issue are incredibly high. The parking spots are not well marked, and you have to pay online to park. I ended up with a $55 fine for parking in what I thought was a permissible area, but there was a small sign that I missed.
After spending over $1000 in the area, I was disappointed by this experience. Trying to reach out to parking officials only led me to a website to pay fines or appeal them. I appealed my fine, explained my situation, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. The response I received was quite standard - pay up, we don't care!
Daniel Morris (2025-05-18, 2:47 p.m.):
I reckon I'd rather visit in the summer months, but truth be told, it's a smashing spot all year round.
Adam Hamilton (2025-05-17, 8:52 a.m.):
