I must say, the beverages here are top-notch, the art is quite impressive, the staff is very amiable, and the ambience is so inviting - that eggnog latte is absolutely divine! A far superior experience compared to Starbucks.

The turkey panini I had was a tad disappointing. It consisted of simple slices of deli meat and cheese. However, the atmosphere of the cafe was quite delightful, and the washroom was spotlessly clean. The art on display was certainly unique, although on the pricey side.

Delightful experience at this cafe! The blue lavender matcha was a real treat, and the service was top-notch.

We decided to drop by Muse Café after hearing rave reviews about their coffee during our stay at Grail Springs Spa. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely Rose who was just setting out some freshly baked cookies. I was pleasantly surprised to find a selection of gluten-free options available. The cookies were amazing! I ordered an Americano, which was simply fabulous, and Rose even prepared a delicious off-menu omelet for me. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her spinach and egg wrap as well. While we waited, we explored the adjacent gallery filled with stunning artwork by local artists. It was truly a fantastic experience. If you ever find yourself in Bancroft, be sure to pay a visit to Muse Café.

I recently had the chance to swing by The Muse on my way to Renfrew, and I am so thrilled that I stumbled upon this gem thanks to Google Maps 🙌. I was originally planning to grab a coffee at Tim Hortons, but after experiencing The Muse, I will never go back. The coffee here is truly exceptional. They serve Madawaska coffee, which in my coffee aficionado world, ranks as one of the best in Canada.

The breakfast offerings are all prepared in-house, giving them a special and unique touch. I decided to try the Nanas crapes and sampled all three different flavors. Each one was absolutely delicious. They were cooked to perfection - soft, flavorful, and with a slight crispiness on the edges, just the way I like it. The Muse has now become a must-stop spot on my journeys along the picturesque Highway 28. Fantastic job, The Muse!

Not just your average cafe, mate, this place is a proper art gallery.

The coffee packs a punch, full of flavor, and they offer almond milk alongside an avocado chocolate cake!

We found ourselves stranded in Bancroft due to car troubles and stumbled upon The Muse, which turned out to be the highlight of our day. As a new Celiac, I was thrilled to discover a variety of gluten-free options on the menu, alongside delicious coffee and beverages. The abundance of unique gifts and artwork added to the charm of the place. The friendly service and the stack of games provided made our extended wait much more bearable. The Muse is indeed a hidden gem that we were fortunate to come across.

A delightful blend of café, art studio, and social hub, The Muse provides a charming haven to pause, enjoy a casual meal, and admire some homegrown artwork. Managed by a dynamic duo of a mother and daughter, the service exuded warmth and familiarity. Our choice of a fresh salad bowl, crepes boasting three delectable fillings (Nutella, raspberry, and apricot), a comforting apple cider, and a rich hot chocolate proved to be not just fulfilling but ideal for a chilly winter afternoon.

We had a delightful stop during our drive from Ottawa, and it was truly a gem! The moment we stepped inside, it felt like stepping into a cozy living room:) The staff was incredibly friendly, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were so welcoming! We only wish we could have stayed longer! We tried their delicious smoothies, which were simply divine!
I absolutely adore the fact that they showcase and sell local art and handmade products, and the sense of community they have built is truly heartwarming! If only we lived closer to indulge in all the other tempting treats they bake fresh every day! I am eagerly looking forward to the day we can visit again!

One of the most inviting and hospitable atmospheres I've ever experienced. The proprietors really pour their hearts into the cuisine and beverages, resulting in consistently delightful flavors! The array of options makes their offerings wonderfully diverse.

What a delightful café to pop into while driving from Barrie to Ottawa. The charming art adorning the walls added a lovely touch, and the array of unique trinkets available for purchase made the visit even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely scrumptious, with a variety of delicious gluten-free and vegan options to choose from.

Stopped by this quaint cafe on our way to Ottawa, stumbled upon it on Google Maps. Decided to try out their specialty drinks - a Butter Rum Latte and an Americano. As a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast who indulges in at least two cups a day, I must say these coffees were exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, thanks to the lovely ladies who served us.

Can't wait to return for their delectable pastries and food!
Nathan Sanders (2025-05-07, 11:42 p.m.):
If I could give it a hundred stars, I absolutely would!

The chocolate chip and walnut banana bread is simply divine! It's incredibly moist, not overly sweet, and bursting with banana flavor! The quality of the chocolate they use is sheer decadence!

The peanut butter cookie is so rich in peanut butter goodness, striking the perfect balance between softness and crispiness.

The service was delightful and the venue is just adorable!

What a truly splendid experience!

Fantastic little coffee spot with a charming owner. The coffee and treats are top-notch, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! Skip the big chain cafes and support local businesses instead.
Dennis Roberts (2025-05-03, 12:19 p.m.):
This coffee shop is absolutely adorable, filled with unique goodies crafted by local artisans. The latte and peanut butter cup were absolutely top-notch!
Rose Patterson (2025-05-02, 6:02 p.m.):
The Muse Cafe is a true hidden treasure in Bancroft. This charming little hippie joint exudes a welcoming, chill vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The Hunter's Stew is absolutely divine – hearty, flavorful, and oh so satisfying. It's the kind of dish that lingers in your memory long after you've departed. The ambiance is funky and quirky, just perfect for unwinding or catching up with pals. The only wee quibble I had was that the music was a tad too loud for my liking, as I fancied delving into a good book. However, it didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly suggest giving this spot a visit if you happen to be in the area.
Abigail Jenkins (2025-05-02, 9:40 a.m.):
We had breakfast at this cafe and it was a delightful experience. It's a cozy spot with a few vegetarian choices on the menu. The food has a homemade touch and it's absolutely delicious. We tried the egg cheese bagel, Reuben panini, and Rosemary omelet - all top-notch!

To round off our meal, we indulged in a blueberry muffin and almond brownie that were incredibly fresh. For drinks, we opted for a London fog and mocha, which were just the right amount of sweetness for our taste.

The service was attentive, and the ambiance was charming with lovely pictures, paintings, and art adorning the walls.
