We popped in as a midway meetup spot and found ourselves in a delightful atmosphere. The grub was top-notch! Our server Britney was absolutely smashing! Not certain if we'll swing by again since we're just passing through, but it was a brilliant experience.

Popped in for a pint on a bustling afternoon. The team swiftly found us a spot at the bar. The brews were flavorful and chilly, just what we were craving!

Decided to munch on some starters after a couple of rounds. Equally delightful.
Daniel Cox (2025-08-08, 5:02 p.m.):
The food was absolutely scrumptious, and the beer was downright delightful. If you happen to be in the area, it's definitely a jolly good spot to pop by.
Ruth Lewis (2025-08-06, 3:55 a.m.):
Lovely spot for a spot of lunch. Top-notch burgers and delicious brews. Adore the charming wooden wall accents and quirky little signs scattered about. The service was impeccable, and we had an absolutely smashing time. Cheers!
Kenneth Gonzales (2025-08-01, 3:48 a.m.):
I always have a jolly good time dining at this establishment. The service is splendid, the ambiance is inviting, the grub is top-notch, and the ale is simply smashing!
Austin Thompson (2025-07-31, 4:55 p.m.):
The food wasn't top-notch, but the drink selection was impressive. The linguine lacked flavor, and the fish in the fish and chips was disappointingly soggy. However, the fungi flatbread was a standout dish, truly saving the meal.
Wayne Sanders (2025-07-30, 8:57 a.m.):
Our server was absolutely brilliant, top-notch service. However, our hostess who seated us seemed a bit curt.
Roy Gutierrez (2025-07-29, 12:53 p.m.):
The staff were ever so friendly, and the food was absolutely top-notch! 😋 I tried the Bourbon BBQ wings, sweet potatoes, and nachos. Not a scrap left on my plate! 🤭
Brenda Hayes (2025-07-26, 8:03 a.m.):
My server, Jordan, was absolutely smashing it with some top-notch service. I ordered a burger, a beer, and poutine.

The poutine boasted a delightful, rich beef gravy that was simply scrumptious. Not overwhelmed with curds, but just the right amount to satisfy.

As for the burger, clearly hand-pressed, beautifully spiced, and topped with good cheese. The sautéed mushrooms were a lovely addition.

Even the craft beer, which I'm typically not a fan of, was rather decent. It's a tough job finding any faults with this spot, I must say.

Five stars from me, I was truly delighted that I decided to swing by. Cheers!
Jennifer Peterson (2025-07-26, 12:54 a.m.):
Visited this place twice while we were in town. Absolutely loved everything we tried. The wings were just outstanding. And the Philly cheese steak? Absolutely incredible. Without a doubt, we'll be returning for more.
Rachel Cook (2025-07-25, 1:24 a.m.):
The staff is absolutely lovely, the food is top-notch, and the beer is simply outstanding. What's more, you can grab your beloved brews to enjoy at home! Cheers! 🍻👌😁
Roger Powell (2025-07-24, 4:31 a.m.):
What a fantastic spot to grab a bite on the journey back from the cottage! The range of craft beers brewed right next door is truly impressive. And the prices? Spot on!
Dylan Garcia (2025-07-21, 3:41 p.m.):
Alright, so I've got plenty of reviews under my belt. We're part-time residents of Bancroft, spending about 6 months a year in our cottage there and hitting the road heading to Pembroke when we feel like it. It was our anniversary and we decided to try out this place for the first time. The establishment had a very charming look to it, and our server was quite pleasant. My partner opted for a $12 cocktail while I went for an $8.50 draft beer. To start, we ordered deep-fried cauliflower for $12, which arrived in a small soup cup. I also got a serving of fries for $8.50, mostly consisting of the outer slices, which tasted a bit reheated, perhaps in a microwave or under a heat lamp. For the main course, we both went with a pound of wings each at $18.50 per serving. The wings were a tad overcooked, on the dry and tough side, with skin that was more crunchy than crispy. My wife tried some sauced wings, but the sauce seemed baked onto them.

In total, with two pounds of wings, an appetizer, and two drinks, our bill came to $88 plus a tip, making it a hundred bucks that didn't quite stretch as far as we had hoped. To be frank, the food quality and value didn't quite hit the mark for us. The venue itself was lovely, though, and the staff were friendly.

Guess we're not the local regulars here, just passing through as we've been told we are 🙂
Peter Thomas (2025-07-20, 9:26 a.m.):
The beer at Bancroft Brewery did not disappoint, it was proper delicious. Despite the bustling surroundings by the intersection, the vibe on the patio was quite charming for our dining experience. However, the nosh left much to be desired - cold, flavorless, probably zapped in the microwave. We opted for the signature chicken dish and the Philly wrap, but they didn't quite hit the spot. On the bright side, service was prompt and our server was a gem, top-notch friendly. While we won't be returning for the grub, we'll certainly pop in for a few pints! Cheers!
Austin Williams (2025-07-19, 3:44 p.m.):
The nosh and ale were spot on, mate! The snug pub vibe paired with top-notch service made for a cracking time. Cheers!
Martha Moore (2025-07-18, 10:34 p.m.):
Bancroft Brew Pub is a splendid spot for aficionados of craft beer and anyone seeking a delightful ambiance. The array of house-brewed beers is truly remarkable, catering to all palates—whether you fancy a velvety lager, a zesty IPA, or a luxurious stout. Each pint I sampled was vibrant and brimming with taste.

The culinary offerings were a delightful revelation as well! The menu presents delectable pub-style fare that complements the beers perfectly. The staff were amiable and attentive, enhancing the entire experience. The snug, relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to relax, whether you're a local or just passing by.

I wholeheartedly recommend a visit if you happen to be in the Bancroft vicinity—excellent beer, superb food, and a splendid time awaits! 🍺🎶
Roger James (2025-07-17, 4:26 a.m.):
Delightful victuals and satisfactory service. This establishment is now separate from Bancroft Brewery, located adjacent, but that was quite acceptable. Situated at the convergence of two thoroughfares, it may be a tad cacophonous with passing vehicles on the terrace, yet that is beyond their control. A splendid spot to pause for luncheon whilst traversing the vicinity.
Patricia Long (2025-07-16, 10:37 a.m.):
Absolutely loved the beer selection at this brewpub! The flight was a fantastic way to sample a variety of brews. And let me tell you, the chicken burger was out of this world! A must-try for any beer and food lover. Cheers!
Anna Roberts (2025-07-13, 3:27 p.m.):
I recently indulged in the Philly cheesesteak wrap and mushroom soup at this brewpub. The wrap was pretty average, but the soup was absolutely delicious. Surprisingly, the service was a tad bit sluggish even though the place wasn't bustling with customers.
Louis Gonzales (2025-07-12, 4:53 a.m.):
Popped into this place for dinner while we were in Bancroft recently, and let me tell you, it was a proper treat, mate. We decided to go for a kids' flatbread, which went down a treat, along with a Caesar Salad and chicken tenders with fries. The food did take a bit of time to make an appearance, but when it did, it was spot on.

The service was top-notch, our server was attentive without being pushy, which is always a bonus. All in all, it was a jolly good experience and definitely worth checking out.

Now, here's the rub - the prices were a tad steep compared to similar joints we've been to, and the menu wasn't all that vast, so we probably won't be swinging by again for those reasons. Cheers!
