I pop in 'ere every week, easily the top spot to grab a bite in Bancroft. Ice-cold tasty brews, top-notch service, and scrumptious grub. The terrace is fab in the summer, and the whole crew is right friendly. We often get Justine as our server, and she's a gem - quick on 'er feet and always on the ball. My partner and I tried the spinach dip and nachos at this brewpub. The nachos were quite dry, not properly layered, could have used some salsa in between layers... At $18, the spinach dip was a letdown - served in a very small bowl that wasn't even half full. I wouldn't recommend ordering the spinach dip. Thankfully, it was just a one-time visit.

My mate and I popped in for a nibble and were rather chuffed. We ventured in without a clue but pleased we took the chance.
We opted for a beer flight, a Caesar salad, Pulled Pork Egg Rolls, and a pair of Caesar wraps. All were jolly good. A splendid spot for a tipple and a fine time out.

Had a jolly good meal at this spot. The only quibble I had was that they cook fish in the same oil as the chicken strips... being allergic to fish, that was a bit of a pickle. Opted for the steak instead, quite satisfying. The selection of food and drink options is top-notch. I'd suggest avoiding the seats under the fans, as they tend to cool down the grub and the folks beneath them. All said and done, it was a splendid experience. Cheers!

Food and service have always been a bit hit or miss up until our most recent visit. The service we experienced during this trip was truly exceptional (I regret not inquiring about her name, but she will undoubtedly recognize herself if reading this review, as we made sure to commend her). Additionally, the cuisine was absolutely delectable. I opted for the butternut squash ravioli, while my companion selected the fish and chips - both dishes were incredibly tasty! We hope that this level of quality and service becomes the standard, as being locals, our options for outdoor dining are somewhat limited, and we would greatly appreciate having a reliable spot to frequent.

Great grub, service was okay. Got sat way too close to other folks for my liking. Noticed plenty of tables with more breathing room available. Should've requested a change, but oh well.
