Ah, mate, this tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to spot numerous whales, some of them even putting on a show by jumping out of the water and playfully slapping their fins and tails. It was quite a challenge to capture all the excitement on camera with the boat rocking back and forth, but it made the adventure all the more thrilling. Definitely felt like we got our money's worth on this trip!

We had a jolly good time on a splendid tour of some majestic icebergs on a chilly, misty day. The chaps guiding us were ever so friendly and accommodating. We had an absolute blast on this outing. Cheers!
Heather Martin (2025-08-16, 9:21 p.m.):
We certainly had a splendid time on our tour, despite not spotting any whales. It can be a bit of a gamble later in the season, you know how it goes...

The wind picked up a tad, but I had full confidence in the boat and the captain, they're true Newfoundlanders through and through.

To those leaving negative reviews, one must understand that booking a tour on the North Atlantic can come with its uncertainties. Seasickness is a common occurrence, beyond the control of the captain and crew, and largely dependent on the individual.

The boats might sway and toss about, but hey, we are out on the open waters of Newfoundland in the North Atlantic after all!

A round of applause to the skilled captain and crew for ensuring our safe return. Perhaps for those who struggle with the unpredictability of the sea, observing whales from the shore might be a better fit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. 5-star experience, no doubt.

The boat was basic yet reliable, and the captain and skipper were absolute pros who knew the area like the back of their hand. I highly endorse this tour for anyone looking for a delightful adventure. Cheers!

A truly delightful tour with exceptional staff! The guide provided a wealth of information (and plenty of chuckles) as we ventured out to spot whales, an abundance of puffins, and even some charming sheep. An absolutely fantastic experience for anyone visiting Bonavista. Cheers!
Evelyn Simmons (2025-08-06, 9:40 a.m.):
Our experience with this tour agency was absolutely terrifying and dreadful. At the beginning, the waters were rough and we spotted a whale, but as the sea became increasingly turbulent, the captain advised us to return to the deck. Soon enough, seasickness swept through the passengers and we found ourselves passing around buckets for those feeling unwell.

Despite the deteriorating conditions and passengers, including children and the elderly, struggling to stay in their seats, the captain insisted on pursuing icebergs. It quickly became apparent that we needed to turn back, and chaos ensued with injuries, screams, and a lack of handrails for support. The situation escalated to the point where life jackets had to be distributed, yet many were unsure how to put them on properly.

The decision made by the captain, who also happens to be the owner, was reckless and endangered the lives of many. It was clear that cutting the trip short after the initial whale sighting would have been the preferred course of action for everyone involved.
William Butler (2025-08-05, 7:50 a.m.):
"Absolutely brilliant! The storytelling was top-notch and we were able to catch sight of a multitude of magnificent whales. Would highly recommend!"
Arthur Gutierrez (2025-08-03, 8:58 p.m.):
Lovely, mate! Just make sure you visit during the right season to get up close and personal with the little buggers in big numbers. Cheers!

A marvelous boat tour with fabulous tour guides. They were jolly and humorous throughout the voyage, ensuring our entertainment. I appreciate them for their patience in accommodating our slight delay for the 10 am excursion. They contacted us and confirmed our booking, a thoughtful touch that I genuinely appreciated. While our luck didn't favor us for whale sightings, we did have the pleasure of spotting puffins and an ancient iceberg drifting from Greenland. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and advise you to bring your luck along to catch a glimpse of the whales.
Randy Baker (2025-07-31, 12:06 p.m.):
These folks are absolutely brilliant! They were ever so patient with a family that was a tad tardy, showed great consideration towards an elderly couple, and even let the little ones have a go at steering the boat. All the while, they maintained a friendly demeanor and shared loads of fascinating information. We visited in early July and were treated to a delightful display of puffins and a plethora of majestic humpback whales. What a truly unforgettable adventure!
