On May 27/24, an inaccurately completed return was abruptly emailed to me and subsequently e-filed to the CRA without any form of approval, review, or signature from myself. Due to your egregious negligence, I have accrued an interest penalty exceeding $500.00, in addition to a further $79.00 to rectify my taxes accurately. I am affording you a grace period of 10 days to address this matter before I pursue legal action.

Despite uploading all my documents promptly, with receipts in hand three weeks before the filing deadline, I was only informed a week before the deadline (after reaching out) that my return wouldn't be filed on time. To make matters worse, there was no response when I followed up. As a result, I have sought the services of another tax preparer in Barrie and will not be returning to Rose Tax.

I handed in my documents for HST filling, and 5 months went by without a peep from either Richard or the office. But under my business account with the Canada Revenue Agency, the name listed was Richard! It appears that he may also be the source of the problem here.
My HST returns have not been filed for the past three years, leaving me with a significant amount owed, which I believed I had already paid!
I've had to hire a new professional to rectify the situation because no one from Rose has responded to me! So once again, I am facing a substantial payment that I had not budgeted for due to someone not doing their job correctly! I absolutely do not recommend this company at all.

Now, I may be mistaken, but I do believe that the 2025 tax season is upon us. One can only assume that they either have no need for business or simply couldn't be bothered. It's a shame, truly, that many of their patrons have had positive encounters previously, yet are now departing due to their inability to get in touch with a soul. A rather peculiar way to conduct a enterprise, if you ask me. I shall be taking my custom elsewhere, that much is certain.
