These items might as well be brand new with the prices they're asking for, sometimes way above their actual value. It doesn't make sense to me that they're selling second-hand goods that they got for free at such high prices. Do yourself a favor and check out a different thrift store to support instead. Cheers!

Supposed to be a goodwill store to help those in need, but instead the only people there helping are themselves, wanting to charge $100 or $50 for items from a second-hand store. They also try to bring back $5 bag day instead of 50 cents day.

The manager and some of the staff at Blue Heron are very sweet and kind, working hard to please customers in a friendly manner. It's such a pleasure to step into a thrift store that is clean and well-organized. Many thanks to Sam and the staff for their great work.

I must agree that I've experienced varying prices for the same item at this store. Sometimes I get a fantastic deal, and other times the price seems to be doubled. It can be frustrating when staff arbitrarily set prices rather than following a consistent pricing strategy. Occasionally, items can become too pricey, which is why having multiple thrift stores in town is beneficial.

I'm sharing this experience because it occurred after my initial review. For instance, I purchased the same item for $5 that you were charging $40 for. It can be disconcerting when staff members are unsure about pricing and simply guess at the cost. In comparison, I've found similar items at Drey's thrift store.

When ya go to inquire 'bout the cost of movies, they say a DVD or DVD seasons be $1, but lo and behold, when it comes time to pay, they crack open the case and tally up each disc for a separate charge. Instead of the bargain they make it out to be, ya end up shelling out much more. Might as well go online and snag a brand-new season of Friends 'cause a used copy there is only $2 cheaper and could be all scratched up. Not worth it! Many a time in the past, I've bought movies and TV series from there and they only charged me a dollar, so perhaps instruct yer employees to quit makin' up random pricing rules on a whim. At the very least, slap them prices up on the wall and clarify that for a 2-disc DVD, ya gotta fork over an extra dollar for the disc with the special features, which most folks don't even bother watchin'.
