Olivia Howard (2025-06-02, 8:01 p.m.):
This eatery is quite loud. I recently dined on some bland and mushy Doré, accompanied by a mere hint of rit. Meanwhile, my spouse opted for the lobster ravioli. The scant 1 mm of lobster filling seemed to have been delicately brushed on, lacking in flavor. Overall, I cannot endorse this establishment, despite its commendable service and cleanliness.

For me, it's a 5-star experience when it comes to the food, no question about it! I sampled a variety of dishes that truly blew me away. The tartare was particularly intriguing, with a unique blend of onions and other flavors that added an unexpected twist. Despite that, I highly recommend trying everything else on the menu!

We enjoyed a delightful cut of high-quality meat, all was well and we even brought our own wine. However, the most unpleasant aspect was being asked to depart prematurely. This restaurant operates in two seatings: one at 5:30 p.m. and another at 8:30 p.m. Despite arriving at 5:25 p.m., we were requested to vacate our table by 7:25 p.m. to make way for diners who had just arrived. It happened to be my birthday celebration, and the rushed service left us feeling pressured and disappointed. We had come for a leisurely evening meal, but alas, it was not to be. In sum, the experience was underwhelming and overpriced for being ushered out well before the 8:30 p.m. seating. I have reservations about returning in the future.

We've been frequenting this restaurant for years now, but I've never gotten around to leaving a review until now. The food has always been top-notch, the service is exceptional, and the ambiance is just right. The owner can often be found on the premises, making sure everything is running smoothly (when he's not busy in the kitchen being the real chef!). The consistent quality over the years has been impressive. We definitely plan on returning! Just a tip: make sure to reserve in advance, especially on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, as it can get quite busy and tables may fill up quickly.

It was our first time at this spot, and my partner and I were rather pleased with the experience. The squid dish was particularly impressive. However, our main courses were a bit underwhelming, especially the bland vegetables. We were asked to leave at 7:30 p.m. for the second seating, which wasn't ideal as we were enjoying our time with friends. Desserts were tasty but the portions were on the smaller side. Service was good, but lacking in some areas. Overall, I left feeling slightly disappointed after spending $115 plus tip for the evening.

We were a party of 15 folks. We typically frequent this dining establishment and always enjoy our meals. However, on our most recent visit, we were let down by the service. I was not pleased with the brusque and rushed demeanor of our waitress, it felt as though we were an inconvenience to her. Additionally, a number of guests were dissatisfied with their dishes, finding them to be overcooked. Moving forward, we will be exploring other dining options instead of returning to this restaurant.

Lovely spot with a fantastic terrace. The service was delightful and very friendly. The chicken tagine was absolutely AMAZING. However, the garlic shrimp was quite disappointing... Avoid this dish at all costs! The lemon sauce was overpowering and the shrimp were overcooked. Stick to the tagine for a truly delicious experience.

Great bang for your buck, and most importantly, authentic cuisine.
Billy Fisher (2025-05-23, 8:54 p.m.):
I absolutely adore the ambiance here! Stepping into this restaurant feels like you've been transported to a far-off land, with the stunning vista of Mont St-Hilaire as the cherry on top. The service is top-notch and the cuisine is truly divine. I have a few favorite dishes that I can't get enough of! We are regulars here! The seafood linguine is particularly mouthwatering. Kudos to the chef for a job well done!
Doris Davis (2025-05-21, 1:49 a.m.):
We were a party of six for dinner. Everything was absolutely flawless.
Hats off to all involved.
Kudos to Chef Philippe.
Thank you for carrying on your culinary craft after Jozéphil.
