Let me tell you, mate, this restaurant is top notch. The grub? A solid 5/5. The service? Top marks, 5/5. And the vibes in there? A perfect 5/5. The bloke running the show is a real sweetheart, I could fly in from Toronto just to chow down here.

Eagle's Nest, now that's a proper find! We tucked into some Eggs Benedict, and they sorted us out with a salad instead of chips, complete with this cracking raspberry vinaigrette. And don't get me started on the ice cream sandwich, it was bang on.

Lovely little restaurant, perfect for a hearty breakfast before setting off on our camping adventure. Just what we needed, delicious food at reasonable prices.
Carolyn Perez (2025-06-25, 4:53 a.m.):
We 'ad supper and brekkie and all we can say is WOW! The chef was exceptional and 'is missus was beyond reproach. Service was top-notch. The grub was simply outstanding. The sauces were made from scratch, not off-the-shelf. The chips were spot on. Morning cuppa was lovely. My missus and I will definitely be back to this dining establishment. As I said when passin' through the kitchen, GREAT JOB CHEF!
Carol Scott (2025-06-24, 2:47 a.m.):
Great spot for breakfast, quick and efficient service. Generous portions and convenient parking available at the back of the restaurant.
George Gutierrez (2025-06-23, 11:33 a.m.):
We endeavored to visit this establishment twice, once on a Saturday and once on a Thursday at two in the afternoon. The place was abuzz with activity. Alas, we were unable to secure a table on both occasions. Despite there being an available table, it seemed to be earmarked for a reservation. It was exasperating to linger in the vestibule unacknowledged for 10-15 minutes during our initial attempt and for 5 minutes during our subsequent endeavor.
Kathryn Moore (2025-06-22, 1:51 a.m.):
Top spot for brekkie! The server was polite and swift in getting our table sorted. nosh was spot on and didn't break the bank. Definitely will pop by again!
Sara King (2025-06-20, 9:06 p.m.):
I absolutely adored this establishment. The folks at the restaurant inquired if it was my maiden visit, and the entire staff began suggesting delectable dishes. It felt akin to dining at home with cherished family members. I highly endorse this spot for anyone venturing to Bancroft. Cheers!
Diane Hernandez (2025-06-20, 8:32 p.m.):
I'm absolutely thrilled that I decided to try out this charming hidden gem. The innovative takes on classic comfort dishes were a delightful surprise. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The owners radiate kindness and hospitality. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

On a Friday evening, cruising through town with 2 more hours of driving ahead, we decided to stop for a bite around 6 o'clock. I opted for the famous hamburger with gravy, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. My wife went for the chicken sandwich with fries and gravy. The service was prompt, the food was scrumptious, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Brittany Young (2025-06-17, 7:50 p.m.):
We popped in for a spot of lunch on the 8th of August, 2019. Top-notch service and the grub was all lovingly homemade.
The missus went for the eggs Benedict, while I opted for the beef dip accompanied by a side of fries - Absolutely scrumptious!
If you're around the area or passing through, make sure to swing by. It's well worth deviating off the beaten path of Hwy 28!
Kathryn Alexander (2025-06-16, 10:46 p.m.):
This eatery is absolutely brilliant! The passion and care put into every dish is evident. With just seven cozy tables, it feels incredibly homely. The menu boasts a delightful array of homemade delights, from fresh-cut fries and hearty burgers to schnitzel and delectable soups. Each dish is presented beautifully, making for a truly memorable dining experience. I can't wait to sample more of their offerings - this place is a gem!

Delightful fare! Impeccable service! Our latest go-to spot for dining. We used to frequent BC Cafe, but ever since it changed hands, the food quality has been inconsistent and the prices have risen significantly. I don't believe it's a good value for the money. During our most recent visit, my husband and I ordered clubhouse sandwiches with a side, which came to $54.

On the contrary, we dined at Eagles Nest and enjoyed two complete dinners for just a tad over $30, and the dishes were absolutely splendid.
Mia Smith (2025-06-13, 4:44 p.m.):
Not from these parts, but I just had to swing by this spot after hearing all the buzz. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! 👏❤️ The chicken wrap and onion rings were on another level – the crispiest and biggest onion rings I've laid eyes on, and not a hint of greasiness. Count me in for a return visit, especially since I'm a big fan of supporting local businesses.
Donald Harris (2025-06-12, 9:23 p.m.):
The grub was top-notch and the waitstaff were absolutely smashing. The joint was chock-a-block, and they were taking orders table by table, so we had a bit of a wait. But get this, they didn't even charge us for the kids' nosh to make up for it. Proper kind-hearted, I must say.
Charles Garcia (2025-06-09, 12:00 p.m.):
Fabulous cuisine! With a plethora of gluten-free choices, the majority of dishes are crafted in-house. The service is top-notch, and my lad was so enamored with the food that he opted for a second helping. We all wagered him 2 dollars that he would not be able to clean his plate. Even the server and chef joined in on the bet, offering up 2 dollars each. To everyone's surprise, he managed to devour every last bite. It was unexpected and unnecessary, but the server kindly presented him with 6 dollars. I'm not sure where the extra 2 dollars came from, but it was a lovely gesture. Many thanks for a delightful dining experience. We shall definitely return for another visit. Cheers!
Sarah Cox (2025-06-05, 11:23 p.m.):
Our server was absolutely top-notch and the cuisine was simply exquisite. I indulged in the peach-infused chicken entrée followed by a delectable pecan butter tart accompanied by a steaming cup of coffee. The entire meal exceeded my expectations – the chicken breast was succulent and tender, the vegetables were impeccably cooked, and the chef nailed the extra spiciness I requested. A truly memorable dining experience!
Willie Cooper (2025-06-05, 12:43 p.m.):
What a delightful find in Bancroft! The staff effortlessly accommodated my dietary restrictions, providing a delicious gluten- and dairy-free breakfast. As someone with severe reactions to gluten and anaphylactic allergies, I felt completely at ease. The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere friendly, and the food scrumptious. Truly, what more could one ask for?
John Jordan (2025-06-04, 7:45 a.m.):
My mates and I were a bit doubtful at first due to the quaint exterior, resembling a cozy family-run Chinese eatery. However, DO step inside! The interior is simply stunning, with a blend of modern and rustic décor.

Managed by a charming couple, how delightful! She is enchanting, and he is truly remarkable!

The cuisine surpasses expectations.
I opted for the stuffed fish with sweet potato fries.

My companions ordered:
A hot beef sandwich with poutine.
Spicy Peach Chicken.
Beef Yorkshire Pudding with a side salad.
Everything is homemade! Everything is unbelievably scrumptious. As I savored my meal, I found myself having a genuine "When Harry Met Sally" moment, much to the amusement of my friends! Haha! The portions are generous in the best possible way!

I couldn't stop raving about Eagles Nest to everyone I passed by in Bancroft. I wholeheartedly recommend it to you and everyone else. If I could, I would dine there for every meal during my time in Bancroft.
Maria Ortiz (2025-06-02, 3:29 p.m.):
My mate and I were on the hunt for a new spot for our lunch dates and we stumbled upon this gem! The food was top-notch and the prices were even better. We'll definitely be making a return visit in the near future!
Ethan Flores (2025-06-01, 3:50 p.m.):
It can be a real challenge to come up with something new for breakfast, but Derek and Brandy have nailed it! They offer all the classic dishes, but make sure to try 'Da Bomb'. It may take a little longer to prepare, but trust me, it's well worth the wait. And let me tell you, they have the quickest coffee service in the whole province!
