The blokes at this place are absolutely brilliant. They really go the extra mile to help out their patients. They were kind, proactive, and made the whole process of getting my 93-year-old mum’s eye exam and escort to the motor (in a proper rainstorm) completely smooth.

These blokes are absolute scammers, mate! I'm 66 years old and went in for an eye exam. They told me it would cost $45. I said I thought it was free, but she insisted it's $45 for a photo of the back of the eye, can you believe it? I rang up Walmart, and they said I didn't have to get the picture. They didn't even give me the option, typical, innit? They'd rather rip off a senior citizen than give them a choice, it's absolutely disgusting. Save yourself the trouble and don't even bother going there. And let me tell you, the glasses are way overpriced too! They pulled the same thing on my brother, what a bunch of scammers!

I popped into FYI Amherst today with a broken frame on my glasses. We were fully expecting to have to purchase a new pair of frames, and were ready to shop around elsewhere for prices. However, we were promptly and efficiently assisted. A big shoutout to Lindsay, who went the extra mile to replace the frames at no charge. Thanks to Lindsay's exceptional service today, we will definitely be back. Thank you, FYI. Cheers!

Overall, a dreadful ordeal. Several weeks ago, I selected the eyeglass frames I desired and scheduled my appointment to update my prescription. Regrettably, I had to reschedule, but during that call, I reiterated that I had already picked out my frames which were on sale and set aside for me. On the day of my appointment, I called to confirm the correct time as I had other errands to run and did not want to be late due to misinformation. After rushing in the snowy weather for no reason, upon my arrival, I was immediately informed that my frames had been given away because they could not hold them for so long. When I questioned why nobody had informed me, they attempted to upsell me on a pair almost double the price. In retrospect, it seems like they simply handed my frames to someone else because they could, without considering my situation. Disappointed, I left and fortunately stumbled upon another optical store just around the corner. They had nearly identical frames at regular price, similar to the sale price, and I promptly scheduled an appointment. I am grateful for Vogue Optical, but I must say, I would not choose to return to the previous establishment. A truly dreadful experience.
