This repair shop is great for swapping out parts, but not so much for intricate repairs.

I'm heading over for a Pixel 3a screen repair. Just 2 months in, lines started appearing on the side, the bottom of the screen began to flash, and there's a black dot the size of a weight visible. All of this happened without me dropping the phone or anything.

On the receipt, it says there's a 6-month guarantee as long as there's no breakage or water damage. They've refused to fix the phone, claiming it's my fault, without even inspecting it (they told me that at the counter, pretty professional to blame the customer without checking). There are no scratches on the screen, no damage to the phone, or the protective case.

After shelling out $140 for a screen replacement, I'd expect a minimum of quality assurance if the screen acts up again after just 2 months, especially when their competition charges $99 with a lifetime warranty for replacements. Do you know anything about legal guarantees? Your business is a joke.

Trust me, this will be my last visit. You sell promises, but the quality of work and after-sales service are a complete joke.

Remember to take note of the after-sales service, they charged me $170 for a low-quality glass replacement and claimed it was 95% similar to an actual iPhone glass. It felt like a rip-off.

I had my phone fixed at this place once, it had taken a nasty fall and the screen shattered into a thousand pieces. They replaced the screen for $50 and it's been going strong for 2 years now, still working like a charm. A helpful Vidétron employee recommended this repair shop to me. 🙂👌

I visited for a cracked screen repair and was kindly offered the option to replace my battery at the same time to cut costs, even though it wasn't needed as I had recently replaced it at Apple. The thoughtful gesture was appreciated. An hour later, I collected my phone looking brand new. Flawless. I have no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this repair shop.

To steer clear of being taken for a ride, I dropped off my iPad for a battery replacement on a Friday at 10 a.m. They assured me it would be ready by Monday at 4 p.m. Come Monday evening, I decided to check in, only to find out they hadn't even started working on it yet. These things can happen, I get it. Tuesday evening rolls around and still no word, so I ring them up again, only to be told it's not done. At this point, I decide to just go pick it up myself. Lo and behold, it's still in pieces, but they promise to have it done by that evening, or at the very latest, by noon the next day. I pop by at 1 p.m., expecting it to be finished, and guess what? It's still not ready. I finally managed to retrieve it at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. To sum it up, best to steer clear as their professionalism is seriously lacking, and to top it off, they seem to find the whole situation quite amusing.
