Oh, what a lovely library! I popped in for the first time last week and it's quite a gem. The staff is ever so friendly and accommodating, and they even had a library tote bag with a cute stuffie and book for my little one. It looks like they have loads of fantastic programs happening, and I can't wait to bring my daughter along to enjoy them!

I had a delightful experience at this contemporary and inviting space, where I visited for the first time with the three children I take care of (ages 5-9). The library boasts an impressive collection of graphic novels, as well as a variety of toys and activities for young ones, such as climbing structures, puppets, coloring materials, a rocking horse, and more. The abundance of natural light that streams into the space adds to its charm, creating a comfortable environment where I could easily spend hours reading.

The staff members were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and I was pleased to discover that the library offers a range of free drop-in programs for children. I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to this lovely library and exploring all it has to offer!
Keith Richardson (2025-06-01, 9:40 a.m.):
The library not being open on Sundays really causes inconvenience for students wanting to use the computers. Weekends are the only time for kids to unwind and have fun, especially on Sundays. Many individuals would greatly benefit from the library extending their hours to include Sundays.

My mum and I ‘ave visited the library in Blackfalds a fair few thousand times, could be even more - and I ain’t jokin’. It’s a right proper place with lovely staff and a cosy, comfy atmosphere :)
Matthew Clark (2025-05-28, 5:47 p.m.):
It was a splendid and contemporary space that I thoroughly enjoyed visiting for the first time with my three kiddos aged 1-10. The array of graphic novels was fantastic, and there were plenty of toys and activities to keep the little ones entertained (climbing structures, puppets, coloring materials, a rocking horse, and more). The abundance of natural light that streamed in was simply delightful, making it a comfortable spot for me to indulge in reading for hours on end.

The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly. I also took note of the various free drop-in programs they offer for children. One that caught my eye is the teatime for tots (could it be that us parents get to enjoy a cuppa while the toddlers have a playtime?)

I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to this charming library and exploring all it has to offer!
