Dining at Basha Lebanese Restaurant in Bois-des-Filion

If you’re searching for delightful Lebanese cuisine in Bois-des-Filion, Quebec, look no further than Basha Lebanese Restaurant. Despite being a newcomer to the area, it has quickly gained attention for its unique offerings, but reviews have shown mixed experiences.

Accessibility and Amenities

Basha is equipped with several amenities to ensure accessibility for all diners. The restaurant features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, as well as a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Additionally, there is a wheelchair-accessible car park, making it easy for guests with mobility issues to access the restaurant without hassle. Parking is also convenient—with a free parking lot available for customers, alongside free of charge street parking options nearby.

Dining Options and Service

The restaurant prides itself on a variety of dining options, suitable for solo dining or group gatherings. Whether you prefer to dine-in or opt for takeaway, Basha caters to both preferences. Their service options include delivery, allowing you to enjoy Lebanese dishes from the comfort of your home. Many patrons have lauded the freshness and taste of the food, particularly items like the Shish Taouk platter and various small plates. However, some reviews indicate inconsistencies in service quality and meal preparation. For instance, concerns have been raised about the portion sizes and the pricing being higher compared to other Basha locations.

Menu Offerings and Pricing

Basha offers an array of offerings, including healthy options such as salads and grilled meats. Customers can choose from classic Lebanese favorites, but feedback suggests that the portions may be smaller than expected for the price, with some dishes labeled as overpriced. Additionally, many found it frustrating that certain accompaniments, such as garlic sauce for potatoes, are offered at an extra charge, which is often not the case in other similar establishments. The prices for dishes like the Shawarma Pita have been criticized as being steep, especially when considering the portion sizes.

Payment Flexibility

For your convenience, Basha accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and even NFC mobile payments, ensuring a smooth transaction process.

Final Thoughts

While Basha Lebanese Restaurant in Bois-des-Filion aims to deliver a satisfying dining experience with its accessibility, diverse menu options, and fresh ingredients, it's essential for potential customers to be aware of the mixed reviews surrounding food quality and pricing. Whether you're stopping by for a quick dinner, arranging catering for an event, or enjoying dessert, consider visiting Basha for a taste of Lebanese hospitality—but perhaps keep in mind the recent feedback regarding their service and portion sizes.

Andrew Edwards (2025-09-05, 1:22 p.m.):
Ordered the shich taouk plate and was quite disappointed with the quality compared to other Lebanese restaurants! The flavor of the chicken was lacking and some ingredients were missing. Additionally, the price of $20.70 seemed a bit steep considering you can get a similar dish for around $17 at other places. Overall, not impressed with my experience at Basha!
Judy Morgan (2025-09-05, 10:22 a.m.):
Absolutely minuscule portion, I say! A mere sprinkle of dried chicken nestled in a pita overflowing with greens. The madam lacked any warmth or hospitality. This establishment shan't be graced by my presence again!
Alan Thomas (2025-09-03, 8:54 p.m.):
A bit steep on the wallet for the portion sizes, and the flavors don't quite stand out compared to other dining spots...
Kathleen Jones (2025-09-03, 4:23 p.m.):
The food was alright, but the portions of the meat, chicken, and other dishes were a bit small for my liking. I personally feel like it could use a bit more spice and flavor. Ultimately, it's your call as customers to share your thoughts and preferences.
Alexander Hamilton (2025-09-03, 2:02 a.m.):
Absolutely delightful and scrumptious!
Roy Morales (2025-09-01, 11:13 a.m.):
The attention to detail from the staff, the delicious food, and the perfect location are all truly commendable. This place is a must-visit!
Helen Cruz (2025-08-31, 10:01 p.m.):
I must say, the shawarma poutine at this place was a bit of a disappointment. The cheese portion was quite stingy, the sauce was lacking in flavor, and the fries were rather limp. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
Elizabeth Nguyen (2025-08-31, 2:00 a.m.):
Still absolutely smashing!! The Lebanese cuisine here never fails to impress me. Can't get enough of it!
Kimberly Reynolds (2025-08-27, 6:37 p.m.):
After visiting three times, I must say the food at this Lebanese restaurant is absolutely scrumptious and the staff are so polite!
Douglas Turner (2025-08-27, 3:35 p.m.):
I must say, I was quite let down by the standard of the dining experience at this Lebanese restaurant. The food was simply not up to par - inedible, I dare say. Spending $60 on plates that tasted closer to $25, straight in the bin! It was far from fresh, cold, and frankly, revolting. I shan't be returning, that's for sure. Save your hard-earned cash elsewhere, mate!
Victoria Johnson (2025-08-21, 11:35 a.m.):
It's an absolute nightmare trying to get an order ready in advance, nobody picks up the phone! Do yourself a favor and order directly from Amir at the restaurant - better service, larger portions, and he actually picks up the phone :p
Jerry Kim (2025-08-21, 5:24 a.m.):
Excellent experience, so inviting and cozy!
I highly recommend trying the shish taouk.
Lauren Gomez (2025-08-21, 12:11 a.m.):
The food was absolutely delicious, although the potatoes were a bit oily. Overall, I had a great dining experience. The restaurant's decor could definitely use a refresh though!
Patricia Lewis (2025-08-20, 1:08 p.m.):
I must say, I was rather let down by my experience at Basha. I received a meager portion of pita bread with hardly any filling, and to top it off, they had the nerve to charge me for garlic sauce! And to add insult to injury, the lady serving me even tried to pass off a stick as part of the meal... Highly recommend giving this place a miss to anyone considering it.
Ronald Parker (2025-08-20, 5:50 a.m.):
I popped in hoping for a better experience than my last visit, which was rather lackluster. I paid $30 for a sandwich with too much sauce, two vine leaves without any sauce, and one baklava for $4, only to find out that they had forgotten to include the garlic potatoes with no mayo. When I inquired about the specials, they seemed outdated. Lastly, the falafel (2) was overcooked and crumbly like powder. Overall, this restaurant is poorly managed, and the prices are way too high for the subpar food quality. I was only able to stomach half of what I ordered. 😡😡
Karen Morris (2025-08-20, 5:18 a.m.):
This place lacks that special touch in their dishes. I reckon they're more focused on making money rather than serving top-notch quality. The flavors are lacking and the food arrived cold (I got takeout and it was only 5 minutes later). Paying $23 for a mixed plate is just outrageous considering the quality you get. I had high hopes of becoming a regular customer, but alas, that was my final visit.
Gerald Rodriguez (2025-08-20, 4:00 a.m.):
Everything is top-notch at this place, including yours truly ❤️
Brenda Nelson (2025-08-19, 3:09 a.m.):
I must say, I had high hopes for this basha chain restaurant, but I was sorely disappointed. The potatoes were swimming in grease, there was no sign of garlic sauce anywhere, and the prices were just way too steep for the quality of food they were serving. Definitely not worth the visit in my opinion.
Heather Baker (2025-08-16, 9:48 a.m.):
This Lebanese restaurant is absolutely top-notch and spotless!
Catherine Gutierrez (2025-08-15, 12:05 a.m.):
The chicken is so dry, it's like the Sahara desert, and the potatoes are swimming in a pool of oil. Not at all what I expected from a Lebanese restaurant.
