Greetings from across the pond,

I must say, after my experience with Mr. Evans and his firm, I feel utterly bamboozled and hoodwinked. It appears that Mr. Evans is what one might call a "closer" in the legal realm. He drew me in, creating a sense of kinship. I placed my trust in him when I signed the retainer and handed over my hard-earned cash, believing that he had my best interests at heart; that he would champion my cause and make the appropriate legal decisions on my behalf.

Alas, this was not the case. It ended up costing me a substantial sum to come to this realization. To this day, I have yet to receive a satisfactory explanation as to why my supposedly straightforward case took a different turn. Upon receiving my latest billing statement, detailing charges and requesting further funds, I discovered that I was being billed for services dating back to the initial phone call I made to schedule my first consultation with his firm. Can you imagine being charged for simply setting an appointment? I had not even officially hired him or his firm at that point, let alone met him in person. There were multiple dubious charges of this nature on my statement. When I reached out via email seeking clarification on these matters and once again inquiring as to the reasons behind his decision to drop my case, I received a response stating that the extra charges had been removed (and apparently I had been dismissed).

Most recently, I conversed with his secretary regarding court documents pertaining to my case, which were forwarded from his firm, along with notes indicating that he was no longer representing me in this matter and advising against future contact. It seems that he terminated our professional relationship five months ago, yet the reasons remain a mystery to me.

In any case, I felt compelled to share this backstory without delving too deeply into personal matters. It seems clear to me that I was billed for services that I did not actually receive. Promises were made by him and his firm that they ultimately did not uphold. I feel blindsided and exploited. I felt it necessary to update my previous review for the benefit of those seeking legal assistance.

In light of my experience, I would strongly caution against engaging the services of this firm or Mr. Evans.

Returning to March of 2019:

Initially, I was somewhat daunted by the situation. However, after consulting with Mr. Greg Evans, my apprehensions quickly dissipated. He addressed my concerns and needs in a manner that made me feel instantly at ease, as if I were among old friends. His confidence was reassuring, and I left with a sense of hope for a lasting professional relationship with Mr. Evans and HGR Graham Partners. My heartfelt thanks to them!
