What a cracking experience, I must say! We got stuck in with the morning doggy drill and then had a jolly good time on a 1-hour dogsled ride. It was an absolute blast, and it's clear those pooches are looked after a treat. Cheers to the team for such a top-notch adventure!

Our experience at the kennels was absolutely fantastic! Not only did we participate in the dog activities, but we also had the pleasure of staying at the chalet on the property, which is listed on Airbnb. As a couple of Americans looking to escape the Thanksgiving holiday hustle and bustle, we decided to take a road trip to Canada. I chose the chalet because it seemed so serene, and I was thrilled to discover it was located right on the same property as the kennels.
The dogs were truly amazing! We arrived too early for the sledding, but we got to be one of the first to go on a cani-hike with the dogs. Our guide, Gordon, was incredibly patient and shared stories about the dogs before helping us put on our harnesses and attach ourselves to our furry companions. He took great care in ensuring we were matched with the perfect dog for us. We embarked on a breathtaking hike through the snow-covered forest, tethered to our dog the whole way. It was such a personal and unique experience that we ended up doing it twice! Gordon was so friendly and chatted with us throughout the hike.
The dogs were not only stunning but also very calm. You could tell they were well cared for and cherished by Alex and his team. It's a shame more Americans don't venture out to discover hidden gems like this. The entire Charlevoix region of Quebec is simply beautiful, and we had no issues with the language barrier at all. These dogs and this experience will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope anyone reading this review has the chance to make such a special connection.

A splendid journey through the Charlevoix region, indeed. We had the pleasure of assisting in preparing the sleds (fetching the dogs and gearing them up), and we savored a one-of-a-kind experience in their presence.
Julie and Benjamin possess a vast park and a cozy shelter that shields from the chill (a rarity among establishments in Quebec), evidencing the devoted care bestowed upon the dogs.
Hats off to the entire team, who embody true enthusiasts of our furry friends.

A jolly good thank you to the splendid team for such a memorable romantic escapade..💍
You lot are a bunch of passionate and attentive folks.
We can feel all the love you shower upon your sled dogs, who are just as cuddly..
We shall certainly return without a shadow of doubt.
Warm regards to the entire team. Céline and Christophe.

Oh, jolly good show! What a splendid experience, quite the contrast to those ghastly sled dog factories! They truly respect and care for their dogs, top-notch service all around. We had a smashing time doing the cani-hike with Anaïs as our guide! Much obliged. We wholeheartedly endorse this service. Cheers!
Olivia Jordan (2025-05-25, 4:29 a.m.):

Lovely experience, I must say! The whole shebang! We got to hang out with the dogs, which was smashing. The scenery was just top-notch. Had a jolly good time chatting with the team. But do mind ya, you'll need a bit of stamina to make the most of it, so best be prepared, old chap!
Megan Watson (2025-05-23, 12:54 a.m.):
We 'ad an absolutely splendid time with me family!! The guides were top-notch, takin' care of us guests and, o' course, their precious dogs! The sled ride was a jolly good time, gettin' to see the dogs in action from start to finish, and the break in between was just lovely. Cheers to the team for a grand experience, we'd certainly recommend it highly!! 😊 ...

Absolutely brilliant experience!
The recent kennel managers (since July 2024) have been ever so enlightening, attentively listening to the requirements of both the participants and the dogs. The teams are incredibly well-coordinated with dogs that get along famously, a true rarity (and not always the case in every kennel.)
The managers show tremendous affection towards their dogs and are deeply devoted to their welfare. After the ride, we had the pleasure of spending quality time cuddling with the dogs, a treat that brought joy to both the young and the old!
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly endorse this wonderful experience!
Randy Garcia (2025-05-19, 12:39 a.m.):
What a splendid morning of dog sledding! The reception we received was top-notch, allowing us to assist in preparing the dogs and seeing them safely back to their kennels. It's clear the dogs are treated exceptionally well there, and our ride with the guides was simply fantastic. Many thanks for such a memorable experience! 🐾👍

An enchanting experience indeed! Gordon and his lovely wife were simply marvelous, and our daughter had a jolly good time.
Teresa Ross (2025-05-17, 5:07 a.m.):
I went online and booked a dogsled ride with this service, paid my deposit, and got my reservation confirmed. However, upon arrival, they informed me that I couldn't join because another group was too large. They tried to console me by saying it was "very sporty" and suggested I play with the dogs instead of participating in the ride - insinuating that I might not be up for the challenge (which is far from the truth, given my skiing and gym routine). The lady who showed me around the kennels seemed uneasy and questioned the decision. Feeling embarrassed and out of place, I decided to leave. It was a truly unpleasant experience.
Timothy Gutierrez (2025-05-14, 4:26 a.m.):
It was an absolute thrill! A truly unforgettable experience that will stick with you for quite some time. This place is different from others, as they have a small number of dogs and are incredibly dedicated to their well-being. They operate as a small, family-run business, and the level of detail and customer service is exceptional.
We opted for a 1-hour ride (part of a 2-hour experience including setup, training, and returning the dogs to the kennel). Each of us had our own sled, which is essential. You may come across slightly cheaper options where multiple guests take turns driving or being passengers. But trust me, you'll want to drive! It's not difficult at all. The dogs know what to do. Your main responsibility is managing the brakes and occasionally giving the dogs a hand by kicking one foot (similar to a scooter) on uphill sections. There can be up to four guest sleds, with the guide leading the way.
We were lucky to have perfect conditions, but we made sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Think of it like going on a 1-hour hike in the woods on mostly flat terrain.
Katherine Alexander (2025-05-13, 11:39 a.m.):
An absolutely smashing experience with Benjamin and 'is lovely pack of dogs, innit. Rarely do ya get to 'ave such a close interaction with the dogs before and af'er the ride. It's brilliant bein' able to lend a 'and 'arnessin' the dogs and spend some time in the kennel afterwards. It's always a good sign when they welcome us in! The dogs are treated right and friendly to approach. Safety and respect for the animals are top priorities. And let me tell ya, the view of the river is absolutely stellar! Cheers!
Ethan Brooks (2025-05-11, 1:24 p.m.):
What a smashing experience, I must say! The hounds were absolutely marvelous. Tally-ho, chaps, it's an absolute must if you find yourself in the vicinity. Cheerio!
Judy Russell (2025-05-10, 11:08 p.m.):
Lovely activities to be enjoyed with the family, innit?
Elizabeth Perez (2025-05-10, 12:19 a.m.):
Absolutely brilliant spot, top-notch bosses and guides. The canines are as obedient as they come, friendly as can be, and oh-so snuggly ☺️😊 Already counting down the days until I can do it again. A truly fantastic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it a thousand times over. Cheers!
Vincent Gonzales (2025-05-06, 10:33 p.m.):
Absolutely remarkable! When it comes to dog sledding, this kennel is the place to be. The dogs are truly in their element, being treated like royalty. Our family had an unforgettable experience from start to finish - getting involved in preparing for the ride, enjoying the thrilling adventure, and sharing some tender moments with the affectionate dogs upon our return.
Many thanks to the entire team, and a special shoutout to Julie for keeping my little one and me cozy while we awaited the next leg of our journey 🙏.
We will definitely be back to The Queen and the Millionaire on our next trip without a doubt.
