I 'ad a splendid experience 'ere. The folks were friendly, service was top-notch and quick. I came in for a laptop repair and ended up walkin' out with a brand spankin' new computer since the old one couldn't be fixed. Despite the annoyance of losin' my files and havin' to shell out some cash, the staff made the whole ordeal quite pleasant. They were helpful and friendly every step of the way. I'd recommend 'em 100%!

Update: I popped back in after a year with a few factory and performance issues on me computer. I can't stress enough 'ow highly I'd recommend this place. Always lookin' out for the customer and providin' top-notch service. If there were a 6th star, I'd give it a bash. I will always recommend this spot for computer needs, and I'm chuffed I can do it right 'ere. A satisfied customer through and through :)

I initially left a three-star review for this company, but after receiving a call from the owner while I was at work, I felt pressured to explain why I had expressed dissatisfaction online. The owner then proceeded to repeatedly call both my cell phone and home phone that evening.

When I first contacted the company, I informed them that I suspected the issue with my computer was related to the SATA cable. The representative assured me it would be a simple fix, with a turnaround time of 3-5 days and a diagnostic fee of $45. However, the final cost of the repair ended up being $157.07, and the job took over two weeks to complete.

Absolutely top-notch customer service. Brought in 2 laptops, one needing a straightforward fix and the other with some tricky issues to iron out. I just have to share what an absolutely AMAZING experience I had at Northern Protocol. As soon as I walked in, Amy greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile that instantly put me at ease. I knew right then and there that my computer issues were in good hands. Amy listened to all of my concerns and assured me that everything would be taken care of efficiently and promptly.

When I called back with some additional requests, I spoke to Cory who was working on my laptop. He was incredibly knowledgeable and confident that he could deliver exactly what I needed. And let me tell you, he was spot on. The service I received far exceeded my expectations, and I was thrilled to pick up my laptop the very next day.

Amy even took the time to show me a few new functions I had requested, and when it came time to settle the bill, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it was for the exceptional service I had received. I left Northern Protocol feeling like a truly satisfied customer. Hats off to Amy and Cory for their outstanding work!

I took my laptop in with a hinge issue, but when I received it back, the monitor was broken and they told me,

"While we take every precaution and care when servicing your computer, there is a possibility of hardware failure during the process. We cannot be held responsible for hardware or software failures, including data loss, regardless of the cause."

They offered to return my computer to me at no cost if I hadn't picked it up yet.

They wanted me to pay for the broken monitor in addition to the hinge repair, which is why I refused to pay for both. I was willing to pay for the hinge repair, but not for the monitor.

* Make sure to take photos before bringing your computer to Northern Protocol Computer or you might end up like me, feeling deceived.

They didn't even apologize to me. Should I be grateful for the "free of charge" offer?
