Mike & John are absolutely top-notch in their field. I've had the pleasure of using their services on multiple occasions over the last two decades. Fun fact: both of these gents actually spent a significant amount of time working at Apple, where they played crucial roles in supporting both staff and customers. Huge shoutout to John for coming to the rescue and fixing my most recent issue :)

I do understand that these are indeed peculiar times due to COVID19, but I've tried reaching out to TRG a couple of times hoping to schedule an appointment as recommended by Apple. After several attempts, I finally managed to speak to someone live (previously only getting voicemail).

I was a bit surprised when someone answered, so I asked, "Is this TRG Computer Solutions?" The gentleman replied, "That's what I said when I answered the phone, didn't I?"

Anyway, I apologized for missing his initial greeting and proceeded to explain that Apple had advised me to schedule an appointment with TRG for replacing the keyboard on my MacBook. I was in the middle of explaining the issue when I was abruptly interrupted and informed that they were busy and booking repairs one week out. It was evident that the person who answered the phone lacked any customer service skills, so I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

My initial encounter with TRG occurred when my Mac desktop required a fresh hard drive. The issue was swiftly pinpointed and resolved, and it was convenient to have an Apple authorized distributor nearby.
The second instance with TRG arose when my daughter's phone suddenly malfunctioned. They diligently worked to identify the problem and although the device couldn't be fixed, they devoted considerable effort to salvage the data and migrate it to her new phone.
I truly value their amiable approach and the convenience of not having to venture to the shopping center or schedule an appointment at an Apple Store for product servicing.

I wouldn't recommend this place if your iPhone has liquid damage and is covered by Apple Care. I was told they could only replace one part (the back) for the $129 deductible, as per Apple's guidelines. I decided to go to the Apple Store instead, where they immediately offered to give me a brand new phone for the same deductible due to the water damage. So now I have a brand new phone thanks to Apple's service.

I've had to bring in my sons' MacBooks from 2013 for repairs a few times, and I must say, the service has always been top-notch. The turnaround time is quick, and the prices are fair. Definitely worth the trip!

I brought my iMac to TRG for repairs because it kept crashing. Apple Support had advised me to do so. I had installed third-party RAM in my iMac, so I provided both the original iMac RAM and the third-party RAM for testing. When TRG got back to me, they claimed that the machine worked perfectly with the original RAM and blamed the crashing on the third-party RAM. However, I had already tested the original RAM, and my iMac still crashed with it. I took the iMac home, and it crashed within 30 minutes of use with the original RAM installed. To make matters worse, TRG's incorrect diagnosis caused major issues with getting support from Apple. Eventually, Apple determined that the problem was with the hard drive and will be sending a replacement. I hate leaving negative feedback because the staff at TRG is friendly. Nonetheless, their inaccurate report to Apple and failure to correctly diagnose the issue caused me a lot of trouble.

I just wanted to provide an update on my previous review. There was a bit of confusion at first because the person who assisted me initially had to go out of town for a couple of weeks, which caused a slight delay in my service request. However, they promptly reached out to me once the necessary parts were available. I brought in my computer and they successfully upgraded the hard drive and RAM in less than 24 hours.

I am really pleased with the overall experience.

Oh, and let me tell you, the computer feels absolutely fantastic now. It's like having a brand new machine, haha.

And to top it off, their pricing was actually more budget-friendly compared to the other three places I checked out in and around Richmond Hill and Markham.
