I've had Peace by Chocolate on my radar since day one, and finally made the pilgrimage on August 12th. Let me tell you, I loaded up on chocolates galore and the ones I've tried so far are absolutely scrumptious. And let's not forget about their ice cream - it's a winner too. The backstory of this shop truly tugs at the heartstrings. Check out the snaps below of some of the goodies I snagged.

We popped into the chocolate shop on Wednesday, 8th August. The sign said it was open, but there wasn't anyone in sight. We returned half an hour later, same story. Disappointed, we decided to give it another shot on Saturday, 11th August at the New Glasgow Market. The chocolates ended up being quite firm and had a rather cheap taste. They lacked the gourmet finesse I had hoped for; more akin to a lower-tier brand. Despite their stellar marketing and intriguing backstory, my honest recommendation would be Cabotto Chocolates along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. Their truffles are truly exceptional, far surpassing the experience at the previous shop.

My spouse and I reside in the Toronto vicinity. We've been indulging in chocolates since not long after the shop launched its website. In June 2018, we paid a visit to the store with some pals who hail from N.S. We adore the goodies just as much as we admire tales of triumph!

I'm not really into sweet treats, but Peace by Chocolate was not only delicious but also carried a wonderful message. It's a fantastic tale worth discovering. Make sure to give it a try!

This charming little shop boasts a fantastic array of chocolates for all sorts of occasions. I would highly recommend paying a visit to it.

I absolutely adore your product, however, I must say I am quite disappointed as I placed an order online a whole 6 weeks ago with hopes of it arriving in time for Christmas. To my dismay, the order has yet to make its way to me. Not only was I charged on my credit card, but I have also taken the liberty to leave 4 voicemails in hopes of receiving some form of assistance. Sadly, no one has returned my calls.
Brian Miller (2025-05-07, 7:26 p.m.):
My first experience ordering online from the chocolate shop was absolutely delightful! Being a true chocolate connoisseur, I must say that the quality of the chocolates surpassed my expectations. I cannot wait to indulge in more of their delicious treats, but this time I am looking forward to visiting the store in person. Your presence in Canada is truly appreciated, and I must commend you on the fantastic work you are doing. Welcome to Canada and keep up the excellent work!

This concept is absolutely fabulous! This shop is simply marvelous! We indulged ourselves by spending around $90 on chocolates for both us and our friends. The assortment of flavors is truly impressive, catering to an array of taste preferences. We can't wait to savor them in the upcoming weeks during our time in Nova Scotia. Here's hoping they will last until we return home to Ontario. By the way, I am a follower on Twitter and I sincerely wish you all the best as you expand across Canada. Thank you for bringing your gift of love and tranquility to our country.
Katherine Russell (2025-05-04, 4:17 p.m.):
These chocolates are absolutely top-notch, mate. The backstory behind them is just brilliant, and I'm chuffed that you brought your beautiful craft to Canada. I'll definitely be placing another order with you. Cheers, and welcome to Canada!

I recently discovered that Peace by Chocolate is now available at Sobeys and Safeway in Calgary, making it easily accessible. My family and I purchased some bars and we were truly impressed. The chocolate is of exceptional quality and the packaging is lovely. We appreciated the messages of peace and other inspirational sayings on the bars, like "Forgive and Forget" and "Bury the Hatchet". It's clear that the Hadhad family is not only producing fantastic chocolate, but also spreading positive values. Wishing them continued success! :)

Ah, yes, that quaint little cottage on the right-hand side. It was actually featured on the news recently. The owners are incredibly charming, and they offer some truly exquisite chocolate treats. Quite a delightful find, if I do say so myself.
