I have never written a bad review before, as I usually give companies the benefit of the doubt. However, this time I had to share my experience. I sent an email two days ago but have not received a response. I booked and paid for a car rental for a week, which was confirmed by Hertz via email. When I went to pick up the car, the man behind the counter simply said there was no car available and they couldn't help. He didn't seem to care at all. I suspect he was still feeling the effects of a hangover, as it was only 10am. This does not excuse the fact that they did not have the car I had booked, nor did they offer any alternative for the following day. I would advise against trusting Hertz even with a confirmed booking. And the automated response to this review just confirms everything.
