Lovely camping experience surrounded by nature, with tarps provided on almost all campsites. The campground has implemented genuine eco-friendly practices and offers excellent customer service. The only downside is that the potable water tastes quite unpleasant, resembling that of a swimming pool.

I personally enjoyed this campground because of the incredible access to the crystal-clear river and the overall hippie vibe of the whole place. If you're seeking a luxurious spa experience, this may not be the spot for you. But if you're looking to connect with nature, then look no further!

The river is absolutely stunning! The gear is in decent condition. The facilities are in need of some TLC: the spa is closed, and the pool could use a clean... However, these minor setbacks shouldn't deter you from visiting this gem! A definite must-see if you're in the area!

Absolutely would recommend this place! Our family went on a lovely kayak adventure down the river. We had a jolly good time, the staff were quite knowledgeable and friendly, providing us with all the necessary gear. The river water was as clear as a bell and the family route was a breeze to navigate. The staff handled the equipment upon our return to the base, and we were shuttled back to the starting point after a brief wait. Cheers for a splendid experience!

Before you head out, make sure to GIVE 'EM A CALL to inquire about the conditions on the river. I opted for "The Famous Tour," a self-guided 20km journey down the river. I was anticipating a leisurely canoe trip with a few gentle rapids. However, the river's water level was exceptionally low (10 m3/s. The lowest on the chart at their office is 5 m3/s), resulting in a completely different experience for me. The river was littered with rocks jutting out of the water or lurking just below the surface (often impossible to spot until it was too late), making the ride about 80% about frantic maneuvering to avoid them and prevent the canoe from tipping over. We capsized numerous times, and I now have bruises on my legs from colliding with rocks (due to the low water levels leaving little cushioning upon impact). We aren't seasoned canoeists (just possess basic knowledge of the techniques), and although my partner relished the challenge, I was so overwhelmed that I can barely recollect the scenery we passed by. Therefore, my rating of 2 stars is primarily due to misinformation. If I had been aware that it would entail navigating through a rock-strewn course (or even pushing the canoe through shallow sections while carefully treading on slippery rocks), I would have opted out. The staff only alerted us shortly before departure that the water level was low and there were more rocks, but firstly: they only conveyed this information in French (which I didn't understand) and secondly: they failed to paint a comprehensive picture of the river's conditions.
