The beer is rather decent, but a tad on the pricey side. The staff are quite friendly, I must say. The ambiance doesn't really stand out much. The music, though, is just way too loud. One can't even have a proper conversation at the table, whether inside or outside.

Outstanding service, scrumptious beers, and a breathtaking vista! It doesn't get any better than this!
Alice Barnes (2025-05-30, 6:57 a.m.):
The staff was absolutely lovely and welcoming. We had the pleasure of sampling each of their brews and were genuinely impressed by the range on offer. From a refreshing blonde ale (the shoreline) to a tangy red (aptly named sour) and a rich porter with a lingering coffee note, there was something for every palate. A visit to this brewery is highly recommended for anyone looking to explore a diverse selection of flavors.

Absolutely loving the Hoppy Cove NEIPA - such a full hop flavor, mate! Can't wait to crack open the ESB chilling in the fridge for tomorrow night. Stoked I decided to swing by this brewery. Cheers!
Justin Torres (2025-05-18, 8:55 a.m.):
You must give those nachos a whirl and pair 'em with a pint of beer, quite the challenge to polish off both at once. Perfect for unwinding, enjoying the company of mates, and savoring a top-notch beer selection. P.S. The grub is absolutely fantastic. Cheers!

Lovely wee brewery, but the ale was a bit hit and miss – could do with some tweaking, to be sure. Brought along a couple of growlers for a fill-up, but after sampling the flight, none of them tickled my fancy enough to bring home. A lackluster Porter, overly yeasty blonde, and cloying IPA were on offer. The ESB was the standout choice, the sole brew worth taking home in me humble opinion. Cheers!

An intriguing tale:

Ventured to the taproom of Baccalieu Trail Brewing Co. last Saturday (July 27th) with the intention of refilling a growler, only to be rebuffed (somewhat frostily) by the staff who explained that due to a dwindling supply of beer, growler refills wouldn't be available for a fortnight to prevent the taproom's closure. Disheartened, I was.

Returned seeking additional clarity, as it struck me as peculiar that while a paying customer could sit in the taproom and order 4 pints (16oz each, totaling a growler's worth at 64 oz or 1.9L), they wouldn't accommodate a growler refill or even a half growler (32oz or a "howler"). No further explanation or alternatives were offered.

If a company offers a service, they should have the ability to fulfill requests and provide advance notice if circumstances change. Prior to my visit to the brewery, we checked social media to ensure the taproom wasn't closed for a private event. Similar notifications should be provided for any disruptions to regular operations. Conversing with others in the community, it appears this isn't an isolated incident.

We hold a deep affection for the brewery, having spent over $100.00 there last Thursday (July 25th, as seen in the picture below). Moving forward, timely updates on social media would be greatly appreciated to minimize any inconvenience.
Logan Wright (2025-05-13, 10:14 p.m.):
Excellent selection of beers, the food is top-notch and made with fresh ingredients. My only suggestion would be to crank up the tunes a bit - the atmosphere could use a bit more energy and background noise to really set the mood for a place like this. Cheers! 🍻
Doris Hamilton (2025-05-13, 2:47 p.m.):
Top-notch sours and IPA's that will blow your mind!
Barbara Clark (2025-05-12, 8:31 p.m.):
Quite the stellar job, I must say.
